Respond to complaint.Customer comes to Arlington Auto Service on 8/11/for an Emission Test.Inspector goes to try to turn the car on after customer turn the car off, it does not start just makes a clicking sound.Customer was told the car would need a new battery as the Charging SystemTester
reveled the battery wasn't not charging enoughThe Battery seemed to be original date on the battery states 07/04/14, we currently still have the battery at the shopAs for changing the battery extremely fast, we pride courselves on fast accurate service and would never cheat or treat anyone differentlyAs for the emission test the Car was not ready to be tested, telling the inspector the battery was dead or unplugged before coming to get a emission testThe Customer was given a Rejected from testing sheet of paper not a fail nor a passCustomer was told after replacing the battery to drive the car for a minimum of miles, as when the battery was changed it reset all of the readiness monitors and a driving cycle is the only way to get those readiness monitors to get readyThe Customer come the following day on 8/12/the car passes emission flawlessly customer seemed to leave happyAs for the the refund, a new battery was installed and a emission test was performed and comes with a $non refundable fee and the battery installed was a brand new Interstate battery which once installed without defects is refundable.Thank YouSincerely Management
