To whom it may concern;I am responding to the above complaint as requested. We did do a repair for Mrs. *** last year as she stated However, I must respectfully disagree with MOST of what she stated in her complaint I contracted with her to removethe rotted SURFACE
siding in the front of the garage as needed to facilitate the installation of new siding, and install new siding on the back of her garage as well, after removing some of the rotted material as needed.I worked on the job myself along with my siding installer, and we spent a half day on the job (full man day) I noticed Mrs. *** makes several references to the amount of time spent; this is irrelevant - her quote was to have siding installed, and was not an hourly or daily charge The work was completed exactly as specified and in accordance with established building practices.Mrs. *** also states she never saw me remove and discard any wood Nothing could be further from the truth - she literally stood in the driveway as I was filling my truck with wooden debris, as I was having difficultyclosing the tailgate from all of the refuse.Mrs. *** states we did not clean up Her driveway was broom cleaned before I left, although she or her male companion were sitting outside while this was done I am sorry she had a flat tire, but that is not by default our fault The job was done nearly a year ago; and she is saying that it has to be from a nail that was left by us? Also, the last flat I had cost me $to patch; not sure why hers cost $200.To be fair, maybe she did not understand the scope of the work as specified I guess But did she really expect someone to remove her siding, sheathing, strip down to frame, resheath, and install new siding for $800? Materials alone would cost more than this. Not sure what she is talking about in regards to newspaper in the blocknewspapers are not something we use as a building material She had structural issues in her block foundation; our contract simply entailed filling some misccracks with mortar; there was NEVER inference made that they could not reoccur.I also should mention that I walked the entire scope of the job with Mrs. *** during the job and at the completion of the work She said she was happy and satisfied before we left.I feel it pertinent to add a few details that were somehow left out of the aforementioned complaint Mrs. *** requested additional work to be performed, that was not in our contract She requested that electrical work was to be done while the siding was being replaced At her request, outdoor junction boxes were installed, wiring repaired, and a motion sensor, and exterior light was installed over the new siding The cost of this work was provided to here before the work was done It was reiterated a second time by phone as I was making the purchase The lights and sensors were installed, tested, and once again, she claimed she was happy with the work. When presented with the bill however, she refused payment This was based on no other reason than "I don't have the money" and "I can't afford it." I was shocked the anyone would have the temerity to deliberately order work while knowing that they could not pay for it, but that is the honest truth in the matter here It was manipulative and dishonest She offered me $for all of the work as a "take it or leave it" type of thing It was paid by check, not cash by the way I reluctantly took the payment, realizing something would be better thannothing.Mrs. *** account was not paid in full - period In all honesty, it should have been placed in collections from the day the work was done I simply wrote it off as it was not a great deal of money, and quite frankly wanted nothing more to do with her.I am actually amazed that anyone could have the unmitigated temerity to file a complaint with the Revdex.com on an unpaid account nearly a year after the work was done.In summation, the work was performed as specified in the contract The customer was happy with the work, yet did not pay their bill in full In nearly years in business, and a client base of nearly customers, this is the first complaint ever to the Revdex.com It is my contention that is baseless, and will have no further response to this person regarding the matter.Sincerely,William Y***

To whom it may concern:Let me be very clear on this.  We did not at any time disconnect any drain pipes, or any other sewer or drainage related items.  We were installing siding 10 feet off the ground; why would we be disconnecting drain pipes?  There were not even any gutters on the siding areas we worked on.  If there is an unconnected pipe, it certainly was NOT as a result of any work on our part.Additionally, she has cited no problem with the siding work itself.... Did siding fall off the structure?  Come loose? No.  She simply stated that "some other contractors" (Who were not present during the job) said "we did it wrong"  The siding looks fine (As she stated)  I'm not sure if she even knows what she is complaining about.Simply; This customer has an open balance on an account that was not paid in full at the time of service.  She did NOT pay for extra work she ordered.  That stipulation alone VOIDS any and all warrantees per our policy. Now she is asking for us to do additional work that had absolutely NOTHING to do with us.  Unbelievable.I am through being taken advantage of by this person.  It is clear to me she is trying to use the Revdex.com to manipulate someone to get free work done on her house.  I will not be a part of this.We will not return to this person's property for any reason or under any circumstances.Sincerely,William Y[redacted]
