Review: put 2001 chevy silverado 4wd truck in for brake line repair.after $1000 spent on 3 brake lines and 2 calipers. I pick up vehicle. look at repair done, was totally inferior.lines were not secured at all also the line out of master cylinder is almost totally kinked (so rear brakes are not working, pedal is spongy at best)i went there the day after and complained about repair.they secured the lines with plastic zip ties. told them about the kink and was brushed off.Desired Settlement: I need to get someone else to fix the so called repair they did.I should not have to pay for it twice..I need at least half back to get it fixed properly.

Response:
This 2001 Chevrolet Silverado truck with 178,817 miles had "no brakes". There was a brake fluid loss, the system was empty. The vehicle had various metal brakelines leaking. This vehicle had excessive rust.We called the customer and invited him to come and see what we were faced with in doing the repair. He saw with his own two eyes the leaks, and the excessive rust. He approved the repair. We repaired the vehicle. The next day,he came back saying that one brakeline was"not secure". It was secure, and we additionally Secured it.He also said the brakeline at the master cylinder "was kinked".The cooper/alloy line we use is pliable. The line supplied fluid to the appropriate wheels. In conclusion [redacted] was shown what needed to be done because of high mileage, and excessive rust. He approved the repair and we repaired it. We stand by this, and all of our work.

I am rejecting this response because:
yes I was shown the rust however I was told they were fixing all the rusted brake lines (7)not charged $1000 for 3. this price is totally outrageous. I took the truck to another shop and showed them the kinked line .they told me it needs to be repaired.the rear brakes do not function properly,if they are working at all.
