Highly recommended for anything to do with wood and restoration Armand and his talented crafts persons/artisans took five to year old pieces of Federal and Eastlake style rockers, secretary & hexagonal tables that were after decades of neglect about to fall to pieces Carefully and expertly they rebuilt and refurbished these exceptional pieces to their original beauty and will last another years He is not the cheapest nor the fastest, but would you want your treasures treated cheaply and on the fly? This is the place to go if you truly love your precious furniture and pianos

I normally do not write reviews, but I was so pleased with Armand's work that I felt compelled to do soI used Armand's Finishes, Incto repair an antique roll top desk and two antique picture framesI was concerned about retaining a company that knows and understands antiques and would repair my pieces with precise careI won the jackpot when I located Armand'sFrom start to finish Armand and his partners were professional, prompt, knowledgable and determined to pleaseThe work they did was top notch and they were accomodating and extremely pleasant to deal withArmand knows furniture restoration and prides himself on excellent craftsmanshipHe communicated exactly what they would be doing to repair the pieces and how long it would takeThey repaired my desk, built a missing drawer for it which matches the existing drawers exactly including the antique drawer pull (not an easy task given the age of the desk) and repaired my antique frames so that I cannot even tell where they were brokenTheir price was fair and their craftsmanship as well as their customer service was exceptionalThis is one of those rare companies where you speak with and deal with the owner throughout the entire processI plan to have Armand's refinish and repair additional furniture in my home

The Humidor sat in a box for thirty yearsWhen we opened it recently the laminate artwork surfaces had pealed away in several placesOne of the ornate legs was missing and there were nicks here and thereWhen Armand completed his work, it became a work-of-artThis is not an exaggerationIt is so beautiful after the extraordinary attention to detail in it's restoration, we have given the humidor a name and frequently visit it and smile at it's beautyI hope he features it on his website
