Armand's Finishes, Inc.

I normally do not write reviews, but I was so pleased with Armand's work that I felt compelled to do so. I used Armand's Finishes, Inc. to repair an antique roll top desk and two antique picture frames. I was concerned about retaining a company that knows and understands antiques and would repair my pieces with precise care. I won the jackpot when I located Armand's. From start to finish Armand and his partners were professional, prompt, knowledgable and determined to please. The work they did was top notch and they were accomodating and extremely pleasant to deal with. Armand knows furniture restoration and prides himself on excellent craftsmanship. He communicated exactly what they would be doing to repair the pieces and how long it would take. They repaired my desk, built a missing drawer for it which matches the existing drawers exactly including the antique drawer pull (not an easy task given the age of the desk) and repaired my antique frames so that I cannot even tell where they were broken. Their price was fair and their craftsmanship as well as their customer service was exceptional. This is one of those rare companies where you speak with and deal with the owner throughout the entire process. I plan to have Armand's refinish and repair additional furniture in my home.

Armand and his crew do excellent work. They refinished several Heywood Wakefield vintage MCM pieces for me. Amazing quality! Very professional looking results. 100% recommended. Very fair pricing for the quality of work obtained. Took about 4 - 5 weeks - but worth the wait!
