This pool inspection was performed in February when the ground was frozen*** *** wasnot present at this time as has no knowledge of what was said between me and the sellerThe contractis between me and the seller not me and *** ***,When I started the repair of the pool supports,
I realized the ground (that is now thawed) was nothingbut mud and would not support the braces I was repairing at the timeI contacted the seller and herefused to discuss who installed the pool or if he knew this was an issueAt this time, I told *** ***that a French drain would be needed to rectify this mud problem on May 8-She did not want topay any extra for this, so she stated she would have it done and contact me when finishedI made fourseparate trips to her house at no charge to explain what was neededI told her to call me when the pipeand ground cloth were in place before filling in the stone chipsI was contacted in July 27-to finishmy workI found the French drain had been moved away from the pool and provided no support for thesupport brackets(they did not contact me before it was finished like I had requested)The drain wascompletely buried and there was no evidence of additional stone being added which was needed tosupport the brackets.When I explained to her that this structural problem was not disclosed to me by the seller, she refusedto pay any extra and wanted a complete refundAt this time I had done 70% of the work.It boils down to the seller not wanting to pay any extra or admit he knew about these issuesThe buyer*** *** refusing to pay any extraSo now she feels the need to become a pool expert and discreditmy health, contract, and reputationMost of her personal comments were and inflammatory.The companies she mentioned in her complaint are in the pool installation businesslt is my opinion thatthey would tell her to replace rather than repair the poolI however, am in the pool repair business andafter plus years in the business know the high quality aluminum pool could be repaired if the partiesinvolved would have agreed to pay for the extra work needed.I can send the original contract if itis needed.Also I have been out of town on business and this is my first opportunity to address your request.Sincerely,Peter H
