OK, I have a "few" grievances with thisBankI signed up for overdraft protection with these guys I literally overdrew by $and ended up with a $charge How can they justify charging over times the amount covered? One other bank I am with only charges equal to the amount covered up to their "per transaction" overdraft coverage fee Why can't they?!?
I was active duty, overseas in Italy, with no branch of this bank around I tried to add my wife to the account and I was told that I had to send Original Documents of forms of ID No "fax a copy," no mail in a certified (or notarized) copy, only the Originals Her Stateside Drivers License: Nope, she's not driving illegallyHer military ID: Nope, she's in a foreign country and required to have it on herHer Passport: NO, we're in a foreign countryThis is the ONLY bank that required this, other state-side banks accepted certified copies or faxed copiesFraud Re-imbursementdon't even get me startedI just ate the fraudulent charges instead of jumping through their hoops Customer service? better not be overseas unless you like staying up all night I've noticed that IF you have multiple transactions in one day, They like to process ALL debits prior to ANY Credits (ie: monthly automatic deposits) just to hit you, once again, with numerous, and outrageous, overdraft fees(on both loans and checking accounts through them.)
ATM feesReally?!? I already paid a fee and now they want to add another one?
Once I've finished moving everything off of these accounts, I'm never going back I'd suggest you think twice before joining with this bank

Collections is never at the phone when you callYou wouldn't think it would be hard to pay a bank money that you owe them

I am a Retired Disable Veteran and I have a checking account and a loan with Armed Forces BankI get paid when every other disabled vet gets paid, the 1stI have my loan payment AUTOMATICALLY withdrawn on the 1st and 16thFrom the first payment of the loan, which was months ago, the payments have been AUTOMATICALLY withdrawn, from the checking account I have WITH ARMED FORCES BANK and for some reason I have been charged a "automatic late fee" of $3.79, times Now I have contacted the bank and my first call, with my disability, raised my blood pressure and upset me, because she told me at the times the payment was presented, the funds were not availableNow its an AUTOMATIC deposit, from the US GOVERNMENTwhich this bank advertises it caters toI asked what my balance what at each times the payments were presented, because as far as I am aware my account has never gotten negativeI see no history or any other fees suggesting my account is ever insufficientConveniently their system does not tell you thatEven when logged into your personal accountThe same representative however was kind enough to tell me that I have been paying a $per month fee for them to MAIL me my statement monthly, and when asked if I could be opt-out of paper statements, she couldn't help meLater when I calmed down, with the help of a friend, I called them againThis time I was told the same thing, the funds were not available when the payments were processedI was then rudely transferred to a "supervisor" who kept reading the same script over and over What I want to know is, if the funds are automatically deposited, from the government, whose members this bank caters too, and are aware of the deposit scheduleBecause my deposits show on the SAME DAY they present request for payment, however it seems, to gain this fee, since they know EXACTLY when the deposit will hit, they are presenting the payment hours before my deposit is registeredI am appalled at the rhetoric and lack of resolution with this bankThis is an outrageSomeone really needs to take a fine tooth comb thru the banks records and procedures and proceduresAlso if you have an account with them I urge you to review your account for fees being issuedI apparently between the two late fees of $each and a $fee for mailed statements, I was being charged anywhere from $6.79-$per month, just to have an account with this awful excuse for a banking establishment

I have been with this bank for several years in the past few years there costume service has crappy service haft the time you can't get a straight answer or they just tell you what you want to here to get you off the phonethis bank love to give the run around or past the buck to someone elseplus they love to put you on hold for long periods of time

I used this bank for years, and they charged numerous fees, lacked branches in most areas, and had consitently poor serviceIn I attempted to close my account and was told there would be a delay to insure all checks were clearedAfter ten days the account would be closed, and any remaining funds would be made available Three years later the account remained open, and I was assesed an overdraft fee due to my car insurance requesting funds and being denied due to insufficient funds in the accountI called the customer service line to try to get information on these feesThe first person I spoke to said there was nothing she could do and transfered me to her supervisor I explained to this gentleman that the account was closed in as far as I knew, and should have never been charged to begin withHe said I was making an untrue statement, as the account was clearly charged fees due to requests for payment three times in the last six monthsAll three charges were from the same company, my auto insurance providerAfter many attepts to explain to this man that the account was supposed to be closed three years ago, and being called a liar each time I finally gave upThis company will not admit they messed up, and will not remove assesed feesIf you attempt to call them, they are rude, insulting, and unprofessional Don't believe thier rating, look around the web and you will see numerous complaints

I have been trying for weeks to get a hold of someone due you guys reporting that I owe you $for an account that was not ever openedYou were the ones who could not understand a court order for name change and "lost" my paperwork timesTook about months to process it and say you could not open my accountsWhy are you now reporting that I owe $for a credit card that was never used? Now when I try to call no one in this collections department answers, your own customer service agents try calling the collections department and leaving messages yet I do not get a call backI was told I just have to keep trying to call, IT HAS BEEN WEEKS OF ME TRYING TO CALL AND LEAVING MESSAGES!!! Get it together and stop messing with peoples credit! Call people back when you are ruining their credit with inaccurate information! Don't just say you care about Military and Veterans, show you care and get it together!

One of the worst banks I ever have had to deal withBank lies does not know there own regulations steals money from your account then the customer service is rude and does not let you speak to there highest level of supervisors

I made a deposit into my account with has not been notedWhen contacting the bank I am told that my deposit has been accepted, even though I can not see that on my accountFurther I am told that my deposit has been sent to be collected from the issuing bank and I will see no funds for to weeksMultiple calls and online chats have yielded poor customer serviceI believe the bank is violating federal Regulation CC on bank deposit holds

They canceled my bank card now I don't have a bank card to get gas to get to work there customer service department doesn't know what happened to my new bank card and they blocked me from transferring my money between my two personal accountsYhey don't know what they are doing

I called in to raise my spending limit to pay for repairs to my carThe bank rep assured me the account limit was raised properlyI attempted to pay the shop and was denied timesI called back the following day and repeated the process to raise my limitAgain assured it was correctAgain denied timesI called back the 3rd day and was assured again it was correct, the payment went through, but my ability to pay for anything else that day was not raised, even though I specifically requested thatI had to wait until after midnight before my account was reset in order to use it againI was charged a $fee from the shop for not paying on time and storageI am a single parent of and active duty and I have to be able to trust my bank to their jobThis bank has negative reoccurring issuesI honestly don't know why I still use this bankNow I am $less and while in the field, automatic payments did not process and I have been hit with $in fees from the bank, not to mention the issues with the creditors, in fact due to the banks inability to do their jobI have been credited fee out of back to my accountSo I am out not only $from the vendor, but $from the banks fees and having to deal with the taxation dept due to their payment being deniedAbsurd

Extremely rude customer service reps, always a complicated process just to simply review your bank account balanceWill be moving to a new bank quite soon!

Can't even talk to costumer service on the phoneBeen try to get hold of them for months now but no one even pick up the phone
