This is a response to a complaint that our company received on 6/19/The ID number is ***Mr*** agreed at his estimate that part of his patio was shifting and was unevenHe also pointed out that he had filled this gap with "caulk" that he had purchased and fixed himselfHe asked
that we do our best to even this outIt was explained to him that we would grind this section down, but there are no guarantees on shifting patiosA half day was spent grinding this 10' section down to make it evenWe gave Mr*** the pro's and the con's of the two main products that we can apply as an overlay on a concrete patioWe believe that Mr*** is confusing the two options that we gave himOne is a very crack resistance system that is made of flexible rubber but cannot be decorated as muchIt is also more expensiveThe other is a resin based concrete system that is stronger than concrete, but can still crack at control jointsEspecially when a patio is shifting. It can also be highly decorated and is a less expensive product than the rubber based systemMr*** chose the concrete system and it has a minor cracking at the control jointsWe cannot, and have never, guaranteed cracking at a control joint of a shifting patio or on any concrete system as concrete based products can crackWe have tried to be sympathetic to his issue and apply a fix, but it again is at a jointWe have also supplied him with extra stain and sealer so that he could self apply stain to concrete blocks that were not part of our agreementAs we do not work on concrete block because they hold water. This was done as a courtesyIt is our belief that we have been more than receptive to his concerns, but he refuses to accept the realities of a concrete systemFurthermore, we explained about our rubber vsconcrete systems and the buyer still choose the concrete system that is susceptible to cracking on a shifting patioWe hope this satisfies the Revdex.com complaintSincerely, Armor Concrete Coatings

Revdex.com spoke to Don at business and the following was relayed: The relief cuts were already thereWe did not cut them, he's lying about that

Please see attached pictures, they even ruined my hose that they used. The workmanship is terrible, I ask that they come and fix it or refund a portion of the money I paid so that I can have another company come and fix what they did. The stress lines THEY CUT THEM which is why they are trying to blame the pad for settling. I will continue to push this until this is fixed or a portion of the money I paid is refunded, at this point it is $800 to fix it. And this is how they treat Veterans. Customer provided 14 pictures, attached.
