Review: Armor fence company was paid an $1100 deposit in order to install a wood fence on our property on 7 /25/14. The company failed to show up and install the fence and numerous attempts (by text message, phone calls and emails) to contact the company to determine why the fence was not installed were ignored. Personnel evaded any type of explanation as to why we were charged the deposit even though the contract was never fulfilled. I have asked in writing ( by email) for a full refund of our deposit.Desired Settlement: I would like to have money refunded as soon as possible in order to avoid filing a legal complaint regarding fraudulent charges to my credit card as was recommended by the [redacted] County Police Department.

Review: Armor Fence Co. began building an attached deck to my home on May 16, 2013, advising the project would be completed in 3-4 days.

Today, July 8th, 2013, the job is still unfinished, The Armor Fence Representative, [redacted] came by on July 3 to inspect the job. He agreed there were issues needing attention and that his company would come out the first of this week to correct them. An email received yesterday said it would be "later" in the week.

The work has been altered, substituting different materials in place of what had been contracted for use.

The transformer for the stair lights is overloaded,, presenting a potential fire hazard, rendering it useless.

The company representative, [redacted], has not responded to inquiries asking for completion information, or inquiries regarding what plans are made to fix the lights, foundation, branded lumber, splintered edges, finish the interior painting, etc.--all concerns which have been outlined in emails and other communications to him.

Attempts to elicit a date from **. [redacted] for planned remedies and a date the project's completion are evaded.Desired Settlement: Honor the contract and complete the work in a safe and quality manner as agreed upon, and provide a reasonable completion date.

I am rejecting this response because

The term of the contract continues for two years. Armor Fence has completed the first phase of the contract by meeting the minimum requirements to obtain our release and get the funds. However, the company's history of failing to honor their commitments makes them suspect. So until the contract term ends,

my acceptance is withheld.
