Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 11, 2016/01/25) */ January 25, Good morning, [redacted] did purchase a [redacted] laptop from Armordyne Computer Solutions on 6-26-One of the procedures we perform on all computers is to run a full hardware test on each machine to ensure that we did not receive a lemon and all parts are functioning properlyWe then make sure all the software is also installed correctly so the customer has a computer that is running properly and then we put it out for saleWe take great pride in making sure that we are selling quality products [redacted] came into our store in November and she showed us that there was a line in the screen and commented that she had really only used it once or twice since she purchased it months earlier and that it was always kept in her back packThe line in the screen is either a bad LCD screen or bad cable which would fall under the year manufacturer warrantyWhen we sell our products, we always tell the customer to make sure and register the product, so if anything under warranty should happen, they will have the proper documents in place for a returnWhen [redacted] came in, she told us that she had tried to contact [redacted] and she was getting a runaround, because it had not been registeredWe gave her the direct number that we know and put the information in a folder on her desktop so she could contact [redacted] directly [redacted] asked me if I was going to fix it for herI told her that it is under warranty which would be free of charge from [redacted] ; if I did the work, I would charge her cost for the part and $laborShe commented that she should not have to pay anything, I reminded her that the warranty is in place for that very reason (this is standard operating procedure in any retail business) and she took her laptop and left saying that I cheat my customers If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the following number or by email Thank you, Terrence W Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 13, 2016/01/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I disagree with what they said, I saidI did not tell them [redacted] was giving me the runaround because I had not registered itThe laptop, was in fact registeredThey might want to get their facts straightThey also forgot to include that they tried to blame me for the broken screenWith all that said and done, I FINALLY got [redacted] to accept my complaint and [redacted] put a new screen on my laptopHowever, I will NEVER go to Arymodyne again for any computers
