I am rejecting this response because: we never gave her permission to touch our propertyShe also obviously cut OUR lock because the lock on our unit was not the lock she provided because she only gave us one key to the lock she provided and we feared she had the second copyAlso, her certified letter stated that our property would remain in UNIT #** until we removed it, not her and not to be moved to a different unitI want her to answer for laws that have obviously been broken here, right? How does a business get away with such outrageous behavior? Surely this OWNER would need to be held accountable for her actions and would be surprised if we are the only ones who have been treated this way by this companyAs customers I feel like our rights have been violated by this owner removing our property from a storage unit that was rented until the end of August. No where in her refund agreement or the original agreement does it state that she has the right to enter our unit to remove our property and move it to another unitI am outraged with this company and insist that legal action be taken

I am rejecting this response because: This is exactly my problemWe paid for a full month's rent, $50, for a X unit and expected to use the unit for the remainder of the monthIf she moved our stuff out, without our permission, to a smaller unit then we should have been compensatedI demand compensation be made for a half month's refund, $total, and not any administration fees...$periodThere was a lock on our unit that she obviously cut off, so why didn't she call and confirm that we were moved out (just as I stated in my original complaint, no attempt in contacting us and unprofessionalism)? She screwed up, not us and if she can't take responsibility for that then she should be held accountable

This is in response to the complaint assigned an ID of ***.The person I communicated with prior to renting and who filled out the rental agreement becoming a tenant of Armored Self Storage and is NOT the person filing this complaintIt was clearly communicated to the tenant that she
needed to sign some of the paperworkSince she had used her maiden name for some of the paperwork it prevented her husband from being able to complete the paperworkMore than weeks after the agreement had been enter into with the tenant I (Armored) had the first encounter with the complainant (who is NOT the tenant)Before he even spoke it was clear he was in a foul moodI chalked it up to the trails of movingI tried to be polite and explain that I needed his wife to finish the paperwork and I needed the original that she had emailed meI asked that he have her contact meAt that point I was willing to arrange a time with her to get the paperwork completed.I waited a week then I called the number that was given to me by the tenant and left a message for her to call meAfter another week I wrote a letter and sent it to the address that the tenant gave on the applicationDenial of access was at daysMore than enough time for her to contact meThen on Saturday August 8, I received a message from the complainantI returned his call and tried to explain why access had been deniedHe made it clear that all he wanted was to argue with someone and it was clear he knew nothing about the content of any of the communication with his wife before or after the lease agreement was madeWhen I said I had left a message and sent a letter he abruptly stated “No you did not!”I told him not to call me a liar and I was not going to argue with himHe continue with his relentless bickering so I sternly said “ I do not have to listen to you, you have a nice day” and I hung up.A short time later he called back and start in with the bickering againI told him to come in Monday. Monday morning I issued the tenant a refund and wrote a letter to the tenant explaining the refund and the move out procedures. The complainant showed up Monday afternoon he was given a copy of the letter and told that a certified letter had also been sent.It is abundantly clear thru the verbal communication and the info he gave in this complaint (IE dates and amounts on the complaint are wrong) clearly showing that the complainant is oblivious to the agreement and its terms. The complainant has moved their stuff out and the unit has been rented. This was the first and now the only time that Armored Self Storage has allowed someone to rent via emailIt was a valuable lesson learned.Tania H***Armored Self StorageHwy 64Kirtland, NM 87417Phone: 505-598-9983Fax: 505-598-

I am rejecting this full response because: Once again she is not being fully honest and again addressing me as a liar. I have not removed all my belongings from the unit and have until the end of the month to do soPlease allow time for the weekend to pass for me to verify her statement of renting out the unit after she already charged us for a full month's rent of AugustI had a feeling this would happen and am frustrated with this ownerWe are out of town until the end of the month, there are only a few items in the unit and expect to receive them and our lock from within our rented unit (which is not the lock that the owner provided but our own lock bought and paid for with our money). We did receive a refund, however it was not the refund that we would have received had we stayed through the end of the, but we were happy to leave with for the way we were treatedFor me to see resolution to this matter I would be assured that we have our unit until the end of the month (for what was paid for), but if the unit has in fact been rented out, a refund for half a month's rent

Complaint [redacted] Per the message left on August 10th the complainant wished to move out ASAP which took place on the 11th.Yes I am at fault for thinking that this calamity was over only to find that the complainant choose to leave behind a [redacted] broom/dustpan combo and a curtain rod without hardware all worth less than $5.00 inside the unit. ?!?!Those items were picked up August 31st.
