The company called us and said since we contacted Revdex.com and Attorney General office we need to get car towed ASAP or they will have it towed to  a impound.

Review: I had my car inspected there on 10/31/2013, first off the told me it did not pass because I had a canister fuel leak. I had two other people look at it and they said I have NO leak. I never had a problem losing fuel or smelled fuel while driving. If anything is wrong they did it! I just had a brake inspection and a new tire put on right before getting it inspected so if I had a leak they would of smelled/ seen it. Second thing is the rip off and literally broke my 3rd brake light cover. They told me it needed to be fixed to pass plus the fuel leak. When I got home my light cover fell off! I NEVER had any problem with it ever falling off till they touched it. To replace that bulb you go from the inside so why they tore it off in the first place is beyond me. So now I have to pay another $60.+ dollars to get my car re-inspected PLUS fix my light cover. I now am with out a car because it is out of inspection because of them.Desired Settlement: I would either want a FULL refund or the job done right and HONEST.

Subject: My case # [redacted]

I am sending an email to you regarding my case # [redacted]. I have recently went back to the business and they inspected it again and passed it this time. They only charged me the $2.12 for the sticker since they knew I made a complaint. No further action I guess now is required since my car is now inspected. Thank you for your help.

Review: In February 2013 I had AAMCO of Reading replace the clutch and pressure plate on my 2004 Jaguar X-Type for a whopping $2,000.00.

Less than 30 days later I had to take it back to find out that they told me that the transmission needed replacement (didn't like this because I thought the warranty covered this!).

They have had my car in their possession this time since the first of March 2013 and I have called the Manager [redacted] more than 6 times to find out when they will have my Jaguar

completed and each time there is some type of explained delay from him and this is in light of the fact that I pretty much paid them in advance for the repair.

[redacted] keeps making a promise that he will call me back and almost never does.

I have to call him back most times.

On Wedenday May 1, 2013 I had to call them again and talked to [redacted] only to find out that there is some type of problem with my All Wheel Drive

gear and they were puzzled by this. I think they have made some critical mistakes with this transmission replacement and damaged my drive train.

I am starting to relize that [redacted] and AAMCO of Reading are very deceptive and that have surely done this to others.

If you call [redacted] you will see what I mean. To date I have given them $1,700.00 for this transmission repair and this is in addition to $2,000.00 the first time.

See below charges from my [redacted] account:

Bank Statements_Payments to AAMCO TRANSMISSIONS OF READING for repair to date

04/12/2013 POS DDA PURCHASE [redacted] AAMCO TRANSMISSIONS [redacted] PA $700.00

04/22/2013 DEBIT CARD [redacted] DDA PUR_[redacted] AAMCO TRANSMISSIONS [redacted] $300.00

4/29/2013 DEBIT CARD [redacted] DDA PUR_[redacted] $700.00 (for Jaguar replacement transmission)

Please help me!Desired Settlement: I want a full cash refund so that I can have my car towed to an honest and respectable repair shop. I didn't check this beforehand but they have a an F rating with Revdex.com and refuse to settle and/or resolve. These people are very deceptive and dishonest.

Review: I took my car to get check engine light off, [redacted] (manager) told me that I need a tune up. I got it done with the help of a loan that [redacted] got for me, [redacted] called me and said the car was done, I had to drive 60 miles to get the light off. I drove it and light didnt come off so I took it back. [redacted] called me and said, a oil light came on,I said thats new. Now they called and said that the engine went. I said that I drove it to [redacted] when I had to drive 60 miles and there was no oil light on. They had my car since October 5, 2013, in January the engine went. I cant understand.Desired Settlement: I want them to repair my car.

Regards,

Review: I brought my vehicle to this repair facilty to have my transmission checked. They did an initial free check and told me I needed an advanced diagnostic performed to find the problem which would cost $135. I had agreed to have it done. The transmission pan was taken down to see what was going on for part of diagnosis and verification for an adjuster to look at. Fine. I was told a machine with monitors and gauges etc. etc. etc. would be hooked up to the car to find the problem. The shop told me the problem was inside of the transmission. I asked for a more detailed report such as printouts from the machines and testing equipment to show me confirmation of their diagnosis. They were unable to produce that and unwilling to. Of the total sum of the vehicle charges I agree to pay for the parts and labor for the transmission pan removal and replaced fluids and gasket. However since I was not given any imperial evidence such as printouts or anything I feel I should be credited back $135 advanced diagnosis charge for this since I couldnt see any verification for their diagnosis. This repair company has many tv commercials giving the impression they are the place to go for this type of vehicle issue. Well I feel differently. I will never goto another [redacted] again for any vehicle needs.Desired Settlement: Just to have my credit card refunded or a refund check mailed to me for the $135 diagnosis charge because I feel I didnt get what I paid for.

Review: I had my car towed into this garage. on a Friday morning. they sent it back on a Monday night very undrivable. it cost 674 dollars. I then had to have it towed back in on a Wednesday morning and now it is a week later and I still don't have my car as promised. every time I speak with james he always has an excuse for the lack of work or to tell me that they found something else wrong. I went to pick up my car on Tuesday nov 5th as promised at 2 pm and at 6:30 pm I still did not have my car. they said they found something else wrong with it. on November 6th,2013 I was told once again that I could not get my car because now they broke a part on it. I am so frustrated with this. I had to take out a 801 dollar loan to pay the second repairs and I have already made the first payment and still don't have my car. I have spoken with james on several occasions today and I get no satisfaction out of him. I really need my car as promised because this is the only car I have to get us around and I have an elderly mother living with me that I need the car to transport to appts and my daughter to college and work.it has cost me almost 200 dollars top pay people for gas and the neighbors are tired of taking us back and forth.Desired Settlement: to have my car finished immediately without any more lies and to get the bill reduced as I have missed work because of this and it has been a great inconvenience and I just don't get any satisfaction. I need them to fix my car once and for all and have it ready at the time p[romised or b y Thursday nov. 7th.
