If I could give them zero stars I would. I was having outpatient surgery and once I was hooked up to EKG, radiologist noticed very unusual heart rhythm. Surgery immediately got cancelled and they dialed 9-1-1. Armstrong Ambulance showed up and took me to Newton Wellesley Hospital. Didn't think anything of it until I got a balance billing statement for $4094. Apparently they were out of my network. They received $793 from my carrier (what they would have received if they were in network).
I immediately started getting letters that I owed them $4094. My insurance carrier tried to negotiate, I tried to negotiate, and they basically say they would would not negotiate. Now it's with a Collection Company and I'm being harassed and threatened with bad credit, and they said per the instructions of Armstrong Ambulance, they were not allowed to negotiate either. Makes me want to question ever calling an ambulance company every again! This is so wrong on so many levels. WORST COMPANY EVER!
We transported her in emergency ambulance 2 times. We billed her insurance which left her with $20 each copay total $40. We are on auto billing, show owes $40 co pay. I do have authorized signatures of reps from the insurance companies. If she has paperwork that states otherwise, workers...
