I am very proud of my company and the service I provide to my customersI am more that just an HVAC serviceI have made many friends and business contacts through my line of work over the last yearsI take pride in the work that I doI know my company has gotten off to such a great start by
the referrals I get each day from my customersI don't have a slogan yet but if I did it would have to be, "just call ***." Many of my customers tell me that's what they heard when they asked someone who they should call for their HVAC needsOne customer even told me he asked four different people who to call and after hearing each one say, " Just call ***, he decided he probably should call ***! When I have a new install I am always swinging by, without being asked by the customer, to check on the progress of the houseThis is always done in between my service callsI want to know the status of the house so I can be sure to have my part ready to go when the customer is ready. In regards to this customer and their complaintI had agreed to install the mini splitsI showed up on their property and completed as much of the job as I could with the progress of the houseI was paid for 75% of the job, which covered my time and my materials I had purchased to useI continued to work on other projects and run service calls while I waited for the house to be ready for me to finish the rest of the jobI was called and called repeatedlyI stopped by the property and the drywall hadn't even been completed which made it impossible for me to complete my jobI was still called and expected to show up however when the house wasn't ready it was out of my hands to finish my partI don't believe I should repay for the amount that was paid to meThat covered my labor and materials purchasedI would like to see the other HVAC bids they had to finish the jobI know the 75% of work I completed was done to code and was completed the best that it could beI don't understand how it could take 5x the amount to finishAll the materials to finish the job were already installed by meThe only thing 5x the amount could be is the laborI pride myself in my work and my pricesI believe if they are having to pay another HVAC company 5x the amount of my bid, that speaks to my honest pricing. I showed up promptly on time to the work siteI competed as much as I could to the quality of service I believe inI checked on the progress of the house repeatedlyI did not end up finishing the jobI am disappointed to how this situation turned outHowever, I can only install equipment that is ready to be installedI gave up service call time to drive by and check on the status of the houseAfter being called and expected to show up and finish when the house wasn't ready was out of my controlI should have gone back but I wasn't going to work for someone who hadn't given me the respect back after I had completed what I could in a prompt mannerI was paid only for my time and my parts purchased
