I entered a complaint against Autosport Honda about two months agoRecently I was contacted by the general manager, Eric, who resolved the problemHe issued a refund check to me for the overpaymentI received the check in the mailThe complaint number was [redacted] Thanks Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted] ***

After speaking with my team after first hearing of the issue, it was apparent to me that I should reach out to [redacted] I did and after speaking to her I asked that we receive full documentation of parts purchased to evaluate issuing a creditTo date I have not received any detailed invoices It is hard to issue credit based on bank account transaction snapshots of a cell phone screen (which was provided by [redacted] )As far as compensation for travel time, and emails, that is a ridiculous request, insulting as well, and forces me to question the validity of all previous claimsThank you

I am rejecting this response because: as explained in the complaint, and shown in supporting documentation, original receipts were physically handed to an individual in the service departmentMisplacement of those receipts while in the possession of Autosport employees is beyond my controlAutosport was advised that an attempt to secure additional copies from the auto parts store were made, but unsuccessfulScreen shots of debits were provided, upon request, as proof of amounts paidAdditional attempts to resolve the matter have been made via email and telephone but have gone unanswered by AutsportAn extraordinary period of time and effort has gone in to the resolution of this matter, and for all of those extra steps, we feel we should be compensatedThe issue could have been handled simply by Autosport arranging for the vehicle to be towed in the first placeWe have been lied to and manipulated and should be earning interest on the money we put out!

I would like to add that I will never be patronizing Autosport Honda again.  My experience was not pleasant.  I unknowingly purchased a vehicle with a blown head gasket on the engine and within a week I had to contribute towards the repairs.  And, obtaining the title after my check cleared should not have been such ordeal.  You can be sure that I will never return and I will be telling all my friends and family and social media contacts about my experiences and the poor quality of the vehicles sold at Autosport Honda of Bridgewater, NJ.

advised me that he spoke with you and provided you with [redacted] tracking number of the envelope that contains the title to your daughter's car. As to why it was not mailed last week, I will look into that but my initial inquiry leads me to believe that one of our office clerks was on vacation last week and some mail for which they were responsible did not make it out. That is no excuse at all, it's just the truth.
