$250, on January 10, 2017. The actual check was dated December 21, 2016 however, the envelope was postmarked January 10, 2017. I am pleased to have received my refund. Thank you.

interim from the time that I placed the order for the windows and preparing to schedule for the electrical work I became ill. I did not anticipate being out of commission for as long as I was and have been in contact with Ms. [redacted]. I fully intend to complete her job as I have conveyed to her several times. She did pay me a portion of the contract amount however, there is a large amount that I have agreed to carry for Ms. [redacted] and allow her to make payments on. I have offered her a discount for her inconvenience and a few days prior to this complaint Ms. [redacted] was satisfied. I am working to complete her job. I will be in touch with her to schedule.

It has taken too long for this company to do this work and I do not trust that the work will be done and he is also asking for more money. I just want my refund so that I get someone else to complete the work. He has not contacted me since August 24th and it is now September 25th. He keeps stating that the work will be done but now I have lost my trust in his company because it has been four months now and no effort has been made to complete the work. I am currently paying the bank for the loan against this contract and I feel that is unfair to me since none of the work has been done. I am asking for a refund of the money that he received since nothing has been done which is in the amount of $6900. Each time that I have communicated with him there is an excuse to when the work will be completed which gives me the impression that it is not going to be completed. As stated earlier, I have lost all trust that the work will be completed and I just want my money back. The contract was signed in May and for the work to be done by June 29th, that is a very long time to me for nothing to have been done yet. I understand that the windows had to be ordered but I am sure it doesn't take 4 months. As far as the electrical work I am not sure why it would take so long. I feel as though I have been mistreated. I think that it is only fair to refund the money.

We have read Ms. [redacted]'s response. We are in the process of scheduling the electrician to perform the electrical portion of the contract. We will notify Ms. [redacted] of the date and time this is to take place. As far as the reason for the delay, we have stated in our previous response that the owner had suffered a setback from a medical illness and was not in the capacity to perform work. We hope to resolve this issue and complete Ms. [redacted]'s work within the next 30 days.

This company has been scheduling appointments for me since June and nothing had transpired and now it is October 2015. They are all unfulfilled promises. If I continue to allow them to do this to me my problem will never be resolved. I have been very patient and feel that the only solution is to give me my money back. No work on this project has been done so it should be no loss to them to refund me. I, on the other hand, am paying back a bank loan for something that has not been completed. I have been cheated and mistreated and I don't trust that if I allow them to continue with this same action that I will be in the same situation as I am in now. I want my money back in the amount of $6900. He cashed my check without doing the work. I feel cheated. What is rescheduling going to do if they never come? This company has lost my trust as a business and I want to move on. Refunding my money is the only option that is feasible to me. I don't understand why refunding me is so difficult...it wasn't difficult for him to take my money. None of the work has been done so there should no problem resolving this issue with a refund for services not rendered. I feel as though that is the only fair solution to this claim. As stated earlier, I have lost trust and do not want to deal with this company anymore. If this is a reputable company, they would just give me my money back and finalize my account...which can be written off on their tax return. I feel as though they are playing games with me. I don't want to reschedule...I just want my money back.
