I had installed a new $3,850 central ac in my 980sq ft home in May 2014. In August 2015 my newly installed AC no longer works. I called Air Around the Clock, assuming they would at the very least "trouble shoot" over the phone, but no... they want me to pay a $90 service fee just to come out to tell me whats wrong. Then if repairs are needed on my brand new unit, additional service fee's for the repair man. I had replaced a central ac that I had for 20 years, not because it stopped working, but to get a more energy efficient unit. She said "it's over a year sir, do you expect us to come out for free?" She asked that question as if I had the unit for 10 years... seriously, she asked me with that tone in her voice.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

The technician was professional and resolved my problem in 20 minutes and had my AC unit up and running. They are courteous, caring and professional. I recommend this company to anyone in need of an AC repair company.

It seems like this page brims with lusty complaints, flawed service, disappointed customers and tactless care. I hate to pile on but my experience with Air Around the Clock was maddening and its attitude was shameful.

Air Around the Clock charged me to repair a clogged drain on June 24, 2016. Fewer than 60 days later, on Saturday August 13th, while the repair was clearly in the guarantee period, the drain clogged again.

Although the company represents itself as "around the clock," it insisted on charging me $175 for a weekend call. Over a barrel, I had no choice.

When the technician arrived, he was nasty, angry and discourteous. When I asked several questions, he inexplicably stomped out, shirking his responsibility to repair the A/C and leaving my wife and me with an inoperative air conditioner for much of the weekend.

On Monday, I followed up with the office and a fellow who represented himself as a member of the management team said the technician "must have had a bad day." He took no responsibility for the technician's unprofessionalism and his refusal to do the job.

Rather than respond in a soft, apologizing and accommodating tone, this fellow had the gall to ask me for a credit card to pay for a service that was never performed. Hearing this, I was speechless and it led to a slight pause on the phone. After a couple seconds and before I can respond, he boldly and unabashedly added, "End of conversation" and hung up.

I think he and the technician need some time in finishing school!

I feel bad for [redacted] Through no fault of his own, his genuine sounding endorsements, spewed in halted breath on-air, ring hollow. It's too bad. Through his years in the marketplace, [redacted] has diligently built listener capital and customer credibility.

From the manager in the office to the technician sent to my home, Air Around the Clock's harshness and phantom charge stuck to my ribs. I would think twice before using these folks.
