To Who It May Concern,On October 2017, *** [redacted] purchased a RedRump ParakeetWe explained to [redacted] that the bird was not DNA tested and the gender was not guaranteedHowever, we did explained to her that due to the birds color plumage we believe its a Female [redacted] agreed to take the bird[redacted] called the following day saying that she thinks the bird ended up being a Male because it fights with her other Male RedRump that she hasWe asked her to come to the store and will be more than happy to exchange for another birdShe stated that she wants a full refundWe explained to her once again about our policy stated on her receipt;No Cash Refund!!! We only guarantee our birds for a period of days from the date purchasedIf an Avian Vet finds that the bird is tested positive of any un-treatable disease, we require written document with test resultsThan a replacement is made one timeFailure to have the bird examined by an Avian Vet within day period, nullify and void the above health guarantyAPS is not responsible for cost of examination and testing performed by your avian vet.We Do Not guarantee the gender of the bird unless DNA testedHowever, we were willing to make an exemption due to her calling and harassing us through the phoneWe asked her to come to the store and bring the bird back and we will give her the refund [redacted] responded with a NO!! About an hour later she came back with the bird saying that she went to another booth stand and that she was told that the bird was not healthy. I told her bird is perfectly ok. Take it to an Avian Vet and if it determined that it has a health disease we will exchange the bird or get credit. They seemed nice and understandable and took the bird with them. She was never told that she has 3 days to return the bird and get full refund. Bird passed away days later, as stated failure to have the bird examined by an Avian Vet within 3 day period, nullify and void the above health guaranty. Please contact me at the above address if you have any questions or need additional information.Sincerely,[redacted]Manager
