Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Reviews (%countItem)

Arrigo Dodge is HORRIFIC in EVERY WAY! In fact, I will drive ANYWHERE to buy from ANYONE other than Arrigo. In 2015 I bought a new Jeep Wrangler Unlmtd. and five years later it only has 26k miles on it. It has been serviced and taken care of meticulously... In the beginning of August, I brought it in for an oil change, tire rotation, and to have the fluids checked. About 4 hours later, I was told that rather than the $180 I was originally quoted, it would cost $680 due to a "sensor light indicating no ABS brakes and a need for new rear brakes" (neither was true). When I arrived at the dealership with my husband, we were shown to the service bays where we were shown that my driver's side door had been demolished and we were asked for our insurance information. My husband refused to provide the information and he demanded that all of the work "required" be provided at no charge. We were given a rental car and told that my Jeep would be ready on Friday but Arrigo would be in touch. The following Monday, we had heard NOTHING from Arrigo (7 days later) then Wednesday when we arrived to pick up the Jeep we were lied to again and told that the door was new (as we demanded), it was not! The Service Department is deplorable. The Sales people NEVER come out of the A/C - this dealership is an abomination!

Terrible customer service and respect for their customers, I hope the loose there dealership deal as they are a real bad rep for the brand names

I purchased a vehicle outright and they are refusing to give me title.
I have been searching online for a vehicle for several months. One evening I got an alert for a vehicle that met my requirements. The vehicle was listed at *** Ft. Pierce but did not have images loaded. I called the next day to ask for images a salesman, unfortunately didn't get his name, was very short with me and said "I'll see what I can do I have your number" although he didn't ask my name. I never heard back that day but images were posted two days later. Once I saw images I was very interested and I called back and got a different salesman named ***. He was nice and was responsive but had to rely on his manager to answer virtually any question or request. We eventually agreed upon a price and I sent my information ID and proof of insurance to them to and requested they get as much done on the paperwork as possible that I would be getting on a red eye from California and would like to get on the road ASAP. I asked for an airport pickup and was told they didn't have anyone to do it.

I get into Orlando and take a $200 Uber to the location (roughly 930a) to find out that virtually no paperwork was completed. *** was pleasant and kept me occupied with small talk while management did their thing. After about 30 minutes the manager, , comes up and says "I'm sorry but the other manger who approved this deal didn't know that we can't sell cars to people from California. Do you have somewhere else you can register it?". I told *** we need to figure out how to do it in California or I'd want some sort of consideration for dealing with doing it elsewhere. He leaves for awhile (probably another 30 minutes) and tells me everything I have to do register a car in California smog, certified weight, vin verification etc. I say "that's fine I'll handle it...". At that time *** also informs me that the other manager didn't calculate right and it would be $200 more than the agreed upon price, I reluctantly say whatever. *** goes back to finish the paperwork. Finally after about 2.5 hours I make it back to sign the paperwork and pay. It takes them awhile to verify the funds (of note it was closer to $300 more than originally agreed to) but I get on my way after being there for over 3 hours.

Fast forward one week. I get to California and immediately get every everything handled and head to the DMV. Go through the process at DMV and the ask for $, I show her where I already paid "tax, title and registration" at the dealer she says she has no record of it and that I need to get the title from the dealership in order to complete my registration. I pay the money to expedite the process and will seek refund from ***. I immediately call *** title department and leave a message that never got returned. I emailed later that day and got an email reply the next morning. I let *** know that I need two things 1. The title 2. A refund. After many back and forth emails with her over the span of a week she keeps requesting original documents that the DMV told me I needed to keep and return to them. Finally she sends me the email in the photo "we won't release titles to customers... that's our policy". They broke one policy which was not selling vehicles to be registered in California but are unwilling to send me MY TITLE for property I paid for outright. They are holding my property from me because that's their policy. All they had to do was mail me my title and refund my money. It would have saved them time, effort, money AND a poor review.

Desired Outcome

The title sent to me. Full refund of the $903.35 I paid in Florida at the dealership for " license, title and registration".

See attached letter

Vehicle has been in several times to Arrigo repair shop for work since November 2018. Work and communication has not been satisfactory.
November 8-10, 2018 dealer did repair to correct check engine light codes for 02 sensors and replaced.
Check engine light returned 3 days later, replaced Catalytic Converter
January 2019, check engine light returned, dealer said it was a bad PCM/TCM control module. Installed rebuild PCM several weeks later.
Three days later check engine light returned, car stalled out, needed to have it towed back to dealer.
Since Mid January it has been at dealer for another PCM controller or some other fix, with absolutely no communication back to owner on repair status...over a month!
Numerous calls to service advisor went unanswered, finally owner went physically to dealer to get status. Was told service advisor had quit the dealer. Talked to another advisor who said vehicle is still under repair with no solution. $4,000 has been spent to far.
Invoices: XXXXXX, XXXXXX, XXXXXX, XXXXXX

Desired Outcome

Would like the Jeep totally repaired with a PCM Module and some type of warranty against further issues.

Customer Response • Mar 08, 2019

I finally got my vehicle fixed, however I needed to supply the $1000 part. It seems like the dealer could have done this as easily as I did, to find were a part with a warranty was available. But they made minimal effort to and when I went to pick up my vehicle finally, I was basically by the service advisor that I should buy a new vehicle and not be driving a 2005 Jeep. What a joke! I would not recommend doing business with this dealer ever, and will tell my story to many many people. They seem to have the attitude that all they want to do is fix warrantee repairs on new vehicles and anything out of warranty you are on your own.

Well, where do I start. My 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland has been sitting at the Dealership for two weeks! Monday the 19th will be the start of week three. They told me it had to have a new battery before they could find out why it wouldn't start. They said two weeks to obtain the battery. I obtained the required battery and delivered it to them the next day. Now, they say, they are waiting for a TIPM/fuel pump relay part. Also, I was notified even though it's a running recall item, I will have to pay for it! I hope I will see my Jeep again someday. Very disappointed!

Hello my name is James *** the service director for Arrigo Ft Pierce. I have spoken with Mr. and all is taken care of. The customer has picked up his vehicle and is happy with our service.

Customer Response • Nov 19, 2018

I would to thank Mr. James J. the service director at Arrigo Ft. Pierce for taking the time to get involved with solving my Jeep's issue. Mr. J. did in fact talk with me about my concerns and solved all issues with complete satisfaction. I am happy with the service I received. I will continue to be a customer of Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, Fort Pierce,Fl.

Car repair issues were NOT resolved. The car works worse than it did before paying over $500 to have it fixed.
I brought my vehicle into the shop for repairs on 7/17/18. According to the mechanic, certain repairs were needed, and according to what the codes revealed, having such repairs should take care of the issue. He assured he would do a great job any problems with the vehicle would be resolved. On 7/18/18, I picked up the vehicle, paid a total of $552.47, and drove off. Immediately as I headed out I start to hear a funny noise, the vehicle began to shake, engine light came on, and continued to stall on me to the point where I was afraid it would leave me stranded. I revisited the shop in good faith the following day, 7/19/18, in the hopes we could negotiate, by either fixing the car correctly, or refunding my money. The mechanic advised me to leave the vehicle at the shop once again. On 7/20/18, the mechanic contacted me via text, informed me that the car needed additional work, and that it would cost $1,600.00. Respectfully I asked why was this not mentioned initially when the vehicle was placed on their code reader. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response. If the car needed additional work, I wanted to make sure the previous repair was up to standards, so I requested collecting the my car's used parts. I was NOT provided any type of response to my request, so I followed up with a written letter requesting for same. On 7/23/18, I had a another mechanic look at the vehicle, and had concluded that the vehicle needed no such repairs, and that it appeared that the repair work that was done was not performed at a reasonable standard competence. I am an 80 year old woman and feel I have been taken as a fool.

Desired Outcome

Its evident that the shop did me wrong. I went to the shop immediately after the first repair, as it was left worse than when I brought it in, in the hopes of resolving the issue. After several attempts of resolve the lousy repair job, it was clear that they had no interested in having the work redone or offer any other help in resolving this matter. I attempted to collect my used parts, but they have refused to respond to my multiple request. In addition, I had my car checked by a competent mechanic, who can testify the work was not up to par. At this time, I would like a full refund, in lieu that my good faith efforts to resolve this issue are fruitless. My hope is resolve this in most the amiable way possible and as quickly as possible.

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Response • Jul 27, 2018

Vehicle came in with an aftermarket ignition coil installed by another shop. The codes that were in the vehicle at that time was for ignition coil failure.. While working thru the diagnostic tree it was determined that the coil was bad and had to be replaced. Replaced coil and test drove vehicle. Returned vehicle to customer. Customer came back in and had a miss fire issue. Diagnosed the vehicle and found codes for cylinder 2 and cylinder 4 miss fire. Worked thru the diagnosis tree and found coil not supplying spark for those cylinders. Thru the diagnosis it was determined that the (PCM) Power Control Module was not sending an command for those two cylinders to fire. The PCM has to be replaced. Due to the customer coming in we have offered to install PCM with no labor and a discount of 15% off of the part. That offer still stands.

Customer Response • Aug 03, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Please note, I have had another mechanic look at my vehicle after Chrysler Dodge's initial repair, which had left my vehicle worse off than it initially came in. Since then, the mechanic CONFIRMED the poor work performed by Chrysler Dodge, and HAS ALSO CONFIRMED that the recommendation for additional repairs, costing over $1,600.00 WAS NOT NEEDED OR NECESSARY.

My mechanic requested I obtain the parts that were removed by Chrysler, so he could examine same. Up to date, Chrysler Dodge has NOT provided or responded in regard to providing the used parts despite the multiple request for same for the purposes of inspection.

The offer from Chrysler Dodge to resolve this issue by the additional repairs has therefore been DENIED due to the reasons specified above, as said repairs are not reasonable, necessary, or needed at this time.

I would like to resolve this issue by a full refund due to that the prior work done was not performed at a reasonable standard of competence, and that the additional work Chryler Dodge is offering to fix the vehicle is not reasonably calculated to bring the vehicle to its working order.

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Response • Sep 06, 2018

The customer is more than welcome to stop by and we can sit and discuss. We feel that we gave a correct diagnosis and feel that the repairs that were required was true to the repair. At this point the customer will need to stop by so we can discuss further.

improper maintenance on my 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 leading to damage to my property
I had Arrigo Dodge change my oil in I believe April. I'm not sure of the exact date but they have records of service. I notice something dripping under my truck about a week later. I got under my truck and saw the oil filter spun loose and oil everywhere including down my driveway. I took pictures of everything than tightened the oil filter. I brought the truck back to Arrigo and they checked it out. They told me they changed the oil and put on a new filter. They told me they would pay to have my driveway cleaned. After at least 10 phone calls to their service department with no returned calls, being hung up on by there receptionist on Saturday June 2 I still have not received $100.00 for the company who cleaned my driveway. The oil did not come up off my driveway so because of Arrigo,s poor service my driveway is ruined and I have not received reimbursement. Their service department is definitely not about their customers.

Desired Outcome

I want my $100.00 back and my driveway repared.

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Response • Jun 13, 2018

Customer was here for a oil and filter change on 3/30/2018. Customer returned to us on 5/12/2018 saying oil was leaking in his driveway and we inspected and found residual oil in frame cleaned it up and explained we would reimburse for cleaning his driveway and we put in for his reimbursement for cleaning his driveway and customer should have it by next week. Check waiting to be signed

Customer Response • Jun 21, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It was not residual oil. My filter was about to fall off. I have pictures of oil running down the filter and my suspension and a puddle of oil on my driveway. My driveway was ruined due to negligence.

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Response • Jun 30, 2018

As customer stated in his comments on the 1st complaint to the Revdex.com that the oil filter was loose and the oil was dripping. When we got the vehicle on 05/12/2018 the only thing we found was residual oil. To much time passed from the time the oil was change and customer returning to determine what happen but we were the ones who changed his oil and filter and we are responsible for his oil leaking on drive way and will assist in helping clean his driveway in any way we can

I have a 2017 Dodge Challenger scatpack. Has only 7100 miles. My car has been in and out of dealer. Feel like they scammed me.
Picked up my car 3/16/2018 and it was shaking misfiring. Never did that before and smelled like burnt cables or exhaust. Also they blame a rodent for this but there is no way that could have happened. Impossible. My car has been in and out of dealer non stop. Was forced to pay $800. When I know and others know this was intentional by them not me. Car was there at dealer for two weeks. Why should I pay for it. Not fair. Treated me like a kid gave me a run around.

Desired Outcome

Would like for them to tell truth and not blame something else. It's not fair. There is no way a rodent could have gone inside engine and pulled out a wire and chewed it. Once I said I was going to complain they fixed my car so quick super fast. When they said it would take time. So I would like a refund for what they did.

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Response • Mar 27, 2018

was here on 03/05/2018 for a check engine light being on and vehicle shaking and no power.after checking vehicle out there was a trouble code p3401 which is MDS solenoid loss of communication , the solenoid is a component that shuts down clynders for fuel mileage. upon future inspection to the wiring we found where a rodent had chewed on the wiring harness to the MDS solenoid. This is not a factory defect per Chrysler. I sent pictures of the harness for you to see Chrysler dodge also got pictures as did *** see them and explained the cost to him and he came in and signed off on the repairs to have them done. He was aware and signed the repairs order.

Arrigo Dodge Crysler service dept EXTREMELY over inflated my tires endangering my life and the life of others. When informed the manager hung up on me.
Writen on the tires it says " do not inflate over 40 psi". Arrigo dodge Crysler inflated them to 49 psi. The correct tire pressure is 36 psi as stated on the door of the car.Had I driven on the freeway it is likely these tires would have failed. When informed the service manager hung up on me. They should have inspected the tires for damage. Now I will need to go elsewhere to deal with this at addition cost to myself.
Product_Or_Service: Tires
Order_Number: XXXXXX

Desired Outcome

Finish the job *** should remove the tires and install new tires and inflate to the correct pressure

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Response • Feb 27, 2018

we have made numerous calls to Mr. *** to try to rectify his concern. We would like see when Mr. would be in town and schedule to replace two front tires for him that were over inflated. We would need to order tires and schedule his vehicle in for service. If Mr. *** in in agreement we can move forward and order tires and schedule in at his convenience

Paint Issues and Transmission Issues and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ARRIGO FT PIERCE
Dodge Ram 2016
about 5000 miles on it.

Call to ARRIGO DODGE for problems with the paint and transmission, they inform me to bring the truck in to take pictures of vehicle, that was back in march 2017, never called me to schedule the truck to get fixed, to the point that the approval expired.

second time
I called and they told me since the approval expired that they submitted a new approval to paint the truck. This time after two weeks I received a text from ***(service) that stated that the approval was in and he just needed it to schedule it, I texted back let me know the time and date, weeks passed no one called me so I called and schedule the truck to be fix, well when I got there they said that once again the approval expired. so he sent it once more time to dodge to be approved.

third time
this time I took over since the ineptitude was such that I had no other choice. I called a couple of time and once the approval was there I schedule the truck to be repair, (paint and transmission repair). they called me claiming the truck was fixed and obviously no one had taken a look at it or driven it. I got there and the truck was nasty inside and out, (interior nasty with paint residue and scratch on the plastic), the paint looks like a 5 year old painted the truck and even the plastics on the roof were damage, so I pointed all of that out and they told me that everything was going to be take care of, yeah right (***). well since the truck was to be found to have even more paint spot that have to be painted, (fenders, doors, bed and hood) we decided to bring it back so everything will be taken care at once, and transmission still had the problem

fourth time in
Bring my truck back in to ***, they told me that everything was going to be taken care off, well after 11 days I go back and guess what, interior of truck smell like paint, dirty all over and paint in the roof still far from a good paint job, so I discuss the problem to the service advisor when all of the sudden the service manager rushed over to me irate , and ask what the problem was. well I explain again and show him the problems, which he reply saying that they can not satisfied me and that I would have to find another dealer. WHAT????, I drove the Truck out of there and the Transmission problem persist and now is worst.

Listen, do your JOB.
THESE ARE MAJOR PROBLEMS, I PUT MY TRUST IN THIS DEALER ARRIGO DODGE AND I WAS DISAPOINTED AND IT WAS VERY DISRESPECTFUL THAT IN FRONT OF MY WHOLE FAMILY I WAS TREATED THIS WAY.

I DESERVE AN APOLOGY PLUS A RESOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM. ASAP

Desired Outcome

Let the dealer propose a resolution to this problem, since is a very complex situation from bad customer service to defective product.

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Response • Jan 15, 2018

Dear Sir or Madam:
In regards to the complaint from Mr., there have been 2 attempts to repair concerns Mr. has had with both the paint and the transmission on his 2016 Dodge Ram. Mr. now has an appointment to drop off his vehicle for inspection by a Fiat Chrysler technical specialist on February 20th 2017, if a loaner vehicle is needed one will be provided for this inspection. Any repairs made will be at the direction of Fiat Chrysler. *** Dodge has no body shop at this location, so all paint repairs were made by a local approved repair facility. *** will work with Fiat Chrysler to help resolve any issues with Mr. Ram.
Respectfully

Customer Response • Jan 23, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They do not have a repair bodyshop but I was obligated by ARRIGO Dodge to use their repair shop approved by them, to the extend that the Truck was dropped off at the Arigo location not any other place. Therefore ARRIGO Dodge is responsible for all repairs, transmission and paint and all damages made to the truck in addition to the paint problems. The dealer is not offering a real solution it is just giving excuses as to why they did not perform the job to standard. I have an appointment with a fiat Chrysler rep because I myself had to go out off my way and report the issues directly to them since again the dealer is failing in basic customer service that any dealer should have. I do not hear any apology for the way I was treated at the dealer, and also my truck was not returned to me in the same condition I gave it to them in.
I hope others see this complaint so they can stay clear of this business, NO I DO NOT FOR ANY REASON ACCEPT THIS MEDIOCRE RESOLUTION

Customer Response • Mar 23, 2018

They did not fix the problem, they stated that the paint is within standars but is not, Arrigo painted the roof and it has stuff under the paint and they over buff the paint in some areas taking out the clear coat. Also while on their possession the truck was scratched in some places out side and some plastic parts inside also where scratched. They sanded the roof with the doors open and all that dust got inside. Pluss while there too they step on the inner door floor rug and it does not go back to the original state because they stepped on it for too long. Overall this is a nightmare

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Response • Apr 13, 2018

As to *** concerns on the paint all around the vehicle and transmission concern. These concerns were looked at by Chrysler /Dodge as per lemon Law procedure, A technical specialist reviewed the spots all over vehicle and determined the paint to be consistent with industry standards. The transmission was also check and road tested by factory technician and determined it was operating as factory designed.
As to the paint repair on the roof done by our sublet vendor we stand behind that and warranty that repair only (on the paint). As for the rest of the vehicle it has a Warranty for factory defects as per the term of the factory warranty.

It should have been a 5 star experience as *** was a great sales person and his manager was great too. However, while doing the paperwork we were caught off guard by the $499 tag fee (in addition to the $899 dealer fee). However the business manager assured us that it was only an estimate and that they would refund any money over the actual cost.

When we didn't have our license plate a week before our license was to expire we called an left a voicemail for the business manager that was not returned. We called the day our licensed expired and left a voicemail that was not returned. We waited several hours and called back. The receptionist searched for the business manager who said he would call to look into it and call me back. He didn't. I called back and had to have him tracked down again. When I asked about the refund for the overage he said he was unsure of how much it was and the tag department was closed. He would check with them on Monday and call me back. I haven't heard back and that was three weeks ago. I have left him several more voicemails. A receptionist also told me a sales manager would call me back since the business manager was ignoring me. I have't heard back from him either. I sent an email, no response. I sent a facebook message and was told someone would call me right back, they didn't

The sales process was good until after the sale. Once the sale is done, they are done with you as well.

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ft. Pierce Response

Mr. Ed *** our Finance Manager has spoken with Mr. and has gone over the registration fees and he is completely satisfied with the explanation.

Customer Response

Received a call from a finance manager. He apologized that no one ever returned my phone calls. Stated he will discuss with his manager. He also offered a free oil change which I declined.
