Arrington's Towing Service

Review: On 06/19/15 at 11:45 Arringtons Towing was called by the [redacted] to work an accident. This required separating a tractor and trailer chaining up an axle and moving to their location under 10 miles. This job took 2 hrs and 15 minutes and they charged $9400.00 to do this work. We contracted [redacted] to go up from our area and recover this truck. Arringtons charged $400.00 to help move this tractor onto a RGN trailer. When we asked [redacted]'s how much they would have charged us to do similar work they said $800.00. My point is I don't know who is related to who in this situation but I suspect there are kickbacks to local officials to get on these rotations for work. I have not seen this type of overcharge since the State of [redacted] put tariffs in place to reign in towing companies from charging excessive amounts for these types of job's. I would not recommend this company for any work of this type and will advise other local carriers about this event [redacted] and [redacted] when talking shop at our meetings at Traffic Club and GMTA about these practices at upcoming trade meetings.Desired Settlement: A more reasonable charge and a refund back on what was paid out on this job.

After reviewing the bill and talking to the drivers on scene. This was billed on a per pound scale that is posted in our office and with the local police departments. The person whom wrote this complaint neglected to make note of the amount of actual damage to the trucks axel and the oil pan. We were dispatched from [redacted] 911 rotation list for the next Large wrecker service on call. Are fees are in line with other companies in the valley for the same job. Thank you.
