Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Good Morning ***, As to our conversation this morning, I’m writing to you a list of items that have not been taken care of and of some new onesI have enclosed some photos of the problemsArmadillo Foundation said they would be coming back days from leveling so that the house could settling and they have not been back The wall still does not touch the floor The French door that was not closing and causing the alarm to go off is now separating apart The house cracks are getting much larger The house on the side of the drive way is lower at the back side The back porch that [redacted] said they would fix when they came back has fallen even more and it is now putting more stress on the roof I would greatly appreciate if you could help us contact the companySo that these issue may be addressed and completed Regards, [redacted]

[redacted] is a friend of mine and I am trying to work out something that will work for both of usThe cause of the damage to his property was the leak under the bathroom (that the plumber forgot to complete) and because leaks void the guaranty Armadillo Foundation is not responsible for the damageThe repairs are expected to be $3,to $4,I am willing to go 50/on the repairs

In regards to Mr& Mrs [redacted] complaint # [redacted] , I advised Mr [redacted] that my dad Mr [redacted] talked to Mr [redacted] on Nov23, and informed him of the fact our foreman had been hospitalize times since he was to return to the [redacted] house to make final adjustmentsIt is my understanding that Mr [redacted] was not aware [redacted] had been in the hospital and is welling to wait until [redacted] is released to return to work to complete the work needed on his home

they must not know who I am If my year warranty is still in effect, why won't someone contact me to discuss the unsettling of my home? It has NOT been repaired!!! I talked to Mr*** who said I would hear back from him but I am still waiting I just want my house levelled & my warranty fulfilled

We have repaired this customer's propertyAnd he received a 20yr guarantee not lifetime guaranteedWe have never issued a lifetime guarantee only yr yr and 30-year guarantees have been issues

I am rejecting this response because:
Mr.*** is correct as well in his response to my wife’s initial complaint however theissue here is the very poor workmanship done to my foundation and the majordamage done to my home caused by his employeesMr*** states that theprevious foundation work done to my home was a “very poor job” and that thehouse was left in shamblesMy issue with Mr*** is not the process in whichthey used to initially level the home but the result of their re-leveling process.Mr.*** was suggesting that we go after the plumbers insurance for compensation to thedamages done to our home assuming that they are the cause for our currentsituationI am a retired Navy veteran and I cannot lay blame to someone whowas not the primary problemI take responsibility very seriously and wish that Mr.*** would do the same. Mr.***’s remark towards the previous foundation work should reflect on his own company.The photos we have of the damage caused by his employees to the interior andexterior structures of my home and the process in which his employees used tore-level the foundation are awfulThe photo evidence is very convincing andthe inexperience and disregard for personnel property is also very clear. I had tried repeatedly to speak with Mr*** to get him over to my home so that he could see all of the damage for himselfbut obviously this never happenedHe would not speak with meI can onlyassume that Mr*** does not wish or think he needs to see the final result ofhis companies’ accomplishmentsI even spoke with his wife to urge him to lookinto our situationMr*** should investigate when a customer is trying toshow him discrepancies caused by his employeesHe never responded to us whichis when I agreed with my wife to go forward with the Revdex.com.The foundation re-leveling was done so poorly that there are numerous differentsizes of wood (length / width) shoved under the foundation and basically anoverall mess with wood everywhereHad Mr*** seen any of this I am sure thathe would probably be thinking differentlyAs a result of this, our securitysystem has alerted the Police department three times sending officers to ourhome thinking that there was an intruderThese alarms were caused by thedoors not being able to be secured properly / completelyWe have five otherdoors in our home that do not completely open or close all the way totaling (6) all together.Mr*** stated that he had offered to help us and he did follow through with that andjust stopped after his employees completely damaged our new homeAs he statedwe did have work done to the inside of the home, what he did not mention wasthat the entire home was remodeledThere were no defects anywhere inside oroutside of the structureNo cracks anywhereNow I can understand some minor cracks and even none at allif a foundation team is that good together but what Mr***’s employees did to our home is absolutely unacceptableThere was no experience and no coordination between his employeesA brandnew kitchen marble counter top has a stress crack and was separated by there-leveling, overall there is damage everywhereMr.***’s health was a major concern and my wife and I were worried as well as glad whenhe started feeling betterI have had Mr*** work on a previous house of mineand I do not wish him bad health because I do know him and his family, howeverwith his current display of business I cannot accept what his company has doneto our home.I would expect a refund as my wife requested or have his people complete the re-levelingprocess and fix the damages his employees made to my home.Very Respectfully R.E.*** U.S.NRetired

I am rejecting this response because:
In reference about my husband making a comment finding someone finishing the job for less, that's a total lie. I was there Saturday morning when *** and his worker went to remove the *** that were holding corners from front of the house. I asked my husband why they were removing the jack, he asked *** and told him they would be back Monday morning. Days after the removal of the *** front part of house started popping. At this time there was nothing to support the house but the small pieces on each side of the house with boards. No show, if
anything they owe me money back, and another thing Mr *** daughter and
son-in-law are going by my house. Because
of all this my home having no support my home fell inches. About two weeks ago his son-in-law was parked
between my house and neighbors for a while.
He saw me staring at him and he left
Yes we had to pay someone else to fix my house or it
would be cut in half in my front lawn, we also had to pay someone else to get
all this stuff off my front yard. If any
money is owed they owe me money back

I am rejecting this response because: Mr***'s company created all this damage due to lack of professionalism on there part to correct a situation which caused extensive damage to my newly remodeled homeThe fact that Mr*** does not recognize the poorly installed re-leveling is a direct reflection on his business and all of the repairs and correct leveling should definitely be all of his responsibilityI would like a complete refund or he can come and fix the damage that his company created.

To get this settled we are willing to refund $1,We have done $2,of work to this propertyIn the photos the *** submitted shows rotten lumberThis is the rotten lumber we replacedAs well In the photos it also shows the two beams we replacedand the holes that where dug for the new post We understand the ***'s have stated the work we have done was not worth what she paid us but since she is not in the construction business we understand she is not aware of what it takes to employ workers to do the amount of work that we did on their house

Dear Ms. [redacted], The following is our response to the above noted complaint ID number. Mrs. [redacted] is not telling a complete account of what happened in her complaint. What she is telling that is correct: ·         She did have foundation work done and it was...

a very poor job, the house was left in shambles. Armadillo Foundation did do her foundation repair. We got a city permit, and we have an engineer's letter (a coFry,was given to the [redacted]'s). We did everything as we do with all our customers. Rebuilt the foundation that was done so poorly. Once repairs where complete we closed it in and properly vented the skirting. What she is not stating in her complaint: ·         As soon as we completed the foundation they had work done on the inside of the house, the bathroom was redone, all walls, fixtures, plumbing, etc. Around 30 days later Mr. [redacted] called and stated the area around the bathroom was sinking. I sent a foreman to inspect the problem. He found a pool of water 20 to 30 feet wide full of water and a larger muddy area, He reported to me that there was a bad leak. The [redacted]'s called their plumber who had done their new bathroom. The plumber went to the house to inspect the leak and reported to them he had forgot to connect the main drain. He repaired the problem and went on his way. ·         I referred the [redacted]s to the part of our guarantee where it states water Teaks are not covered under the guarantee. Water leaks are the worst thing to happen to a foundation especially newly repaired foundations. ·         I offered to help them fix the foundation, before we could get started I started having major health issues, I was having spells and got worse and worse. I ended up in the hospital because of a stroke, within 2 weeks I had a second stroke, and my business went down with me. I am sure the plumber has insurance and I think that is who the [redacted]s should be contacting in regards to being reimbursed for repairs needed to the house since it was his error that caused the damage to their house. I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting thier response!!Responding to message there was no engineer invoice when signing contract. Contract was for another...

residence dated 2013. Also, lumber bought was not ever $100 dollars. We've also attached work schedule that did't work no more 20 hours. My husband never told their employee about getting someone else since we had already spoken to [redacted] and given her cashiers check #[redacted] dated Aug 14,2015. I never got a call to sign no contract. [redacted] never showed up at job site only know him by phone. Contract was signed on 17 Aug 2015 ( receipt attached ) of cashiers check, 22 the workers pickup tools and removed bottle [redacted] from house (home fell 8 inches) They started working 18th and stopped 21st Aug, 22nd they picked up tools. We waited 2 weeks when [redacted] and [redacted] called engineer passed away. Picture's 1. 4x6x20 bought 4 that was it. bottom is trash that was left-hired someone else to remove trash. 2. Top picture trash/bottom side of house took [redacted] off-3. Blocking on top of old posts. 4. Blockings old poles/jacked up and put shims. 5. New Beam cut put top of old poles. 6. Old/New poles/cut around to fit post.     We spoke to attorney 22nd. Work was not even ever $1,000 worth.                [redacted]   [redacted]
