The latest response from Arrotta's Automax shows they
truly do not care about their customers at allThey had *** Tire update
the invoice??? Just because they go in and change information on a piece of
paper updating the make, model, engine and tire pressure doesn't make
everything all rightWhy was all that information wrong in the first place? Why was the PSI on the tires so low on the original invoice? Because the wrong tires were installed! They are truly going out of their way to NOT help a customer
What would have happened if I would have hooked up our trailer to take the
family camping? The tires that were on the truck would have blown out because
they cant handle the weight and pressure??? Is that what would have needed to happen for
Arrotta's to do the right thing? Or would they have fought that as wellThey should feel grateful that nothing happened to my family or myself. In the attachment you see a picture from my google photos account of the tires that came off the truck with a clear visual of the sizeYou can clearly see that they are 265/70/R17 115TOnce again even the "updated invoice" shows a different rim size then my stock 17" rims that are on the truckOn the sheet that was provided by *** Tire I've circled the tire that was installed on the truckThis tire that was installed and is circled on the sheet also represents the PSI that was on the original invoice from *** TireSo for them to change the invoice to a completely different tire is not rightI'm sure that Arrotta's and *** Tire have a great relationship because they do business together on a daily basis, but that doesn't give them the right to take advantage of their customers.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:

Please see the attached response to ID 1***Mr*** purchased a Dodge Ram pickup from our dealership on 05/05/Part of the purchase agreement was that we would have new tires installed on the pickupWe are not a tire shop so we outsource all tire work In this case the work
was performed by *** *** * *** When we outsource work we rely on the professionals to install proper equipment We were not aware that the tires installed on Mr*** pickup were not appropriate tires for the pickupAny damages to Mr*** pickup due to inappropriate equipment installed would be the responsibility of the company installing that equipment .The second part of Mr***' complaint is that the pickup did not pass emissions in ColoradoThe pickup was purchased in Washington StateIn Washington one-ton diesel pickups are exempt from emissionsThe fact that the pickup did not pass Colorado emissions is not something that a Washington dealer would be responsible for ensuring.Mr*** purchased this pickup "AS IS" and signed a Federal Buyers Guide stating as suchPlease see the attached exhibits A, B and CWe encourage all customers to have an inspection performed by a mechanic of their choosing prior to purchasing a vehicle from usAccording to Mr***' own account he had the pickup inspected before purchase and neither the brakes nor u-joint were an issue at time of purchase. We do not feel that we are responsible for any ofthe expenses that Mr*** has detailed in his complaint

*** *** came to our dealership and purchased a Mazda 6. During the purchase process, *** was offered and declined to have the purchased vehicle inspected by a 3rd party personal certified mechanic. We never turn away from allowing a customer to have a vehicle inspected
and actually encourage exactly that, because the vehicles are sold as is. When *** came back to the dealership, we offered to inspect the vehicle at no charge and offered any repairs at an internal reduced rate for any repairs. During the process, *** got frustrated and acted irate toward one of our managers in the office. The manager instructed her to try and calm down and communicate her frustrations without abusive context. *** didn’t want to cooperate with the manager and told him, she would no longer speak to him. During that time, another manager offered to have the vehicle inspected while she was at the dealership, which she accepted. As the technicians were diagnosing the possible problems, the customer got angry about any possible out of pocket expenses and asked to have the vehicle removed from the service department. The technicians stopped working on the vehicle, and pulled out of the service center. *** said she wasn’t wanting to look into any solution of the vehicle repair. She told the employees of our dealership that she would handle it on her own and left. As stated before, we had disclosed the vehicle to be sold as is. Any repairs after the agreement to purchase the vehicle are the responsibility of the owner of the vehicle. Should *** want to have repairs done to the vehicle she purchased, we would offer a reduced rate and cost on parts to make it as affordable as possible for *** ***
Please be aware that we pride ourselves in customer service and try to help our customers anyway we possibly can with in reason
Sincerely,
Dan A***

To Whom It May Concern:
We are sorry for Mr***'s issue The Ford Super duty Vin: *** was purchased on September 15, This vehicle cleared our finance department on September 19, and went to our accounting department for payoff There was days
from the date of purchase until Mr***'s auto payment was taken out of his account, which we cannot control We overnighted the payment to Global Credit union and a *** had signed for FedEx envelope at 9:AM on Why this payment had not been posted by 10/1/is a question that Global Credit Union would have to explain
We paid Global the full amount that was allowed in the deal for payoff If any payments were taken by Global, than this should result in an overpayment once the payoff had been made by Global Any overpayment should be refunded to Mr*** by Global Credit union
If there is anything we can do to help Mr*** we would be glad to help within our power
Respectfully,
Cathy B***
Controller

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, *** ***

Please see attached response to *** rejection. After receiving the most recent rejection from Mr***, Arrotta's Automax took the complaint and all documentation submitted to *** Tire & Automotive for their assistance in addressing Mr*** complaint.Mr*** has provided a statement that is included with this response as well as an updated invoice with the complete vehicle informationThere is also an lronman spec sheet where the tire that was installed on Mr*** pickup is highlighted along with their bill from the distributor they purchased the tires from.*** Tire has assured Arrotta's Automax that the tires installed on Mr*** pickup were adequate and safe Mr*** stated that the tires would not be the cause of the damages that Mr*** is claiming.Mr*** original complaint dated 08/14/stated that "because the wrong tires were installed and I drove it back to Colorado the front hubs and ball joints had to be replaced because of sagging." We have provided numerous documents showing that the tires installed on Mr*** pickup were acceptable size, tread, load, etcWe now have involved the tire shop where we purchased the tires andthat shop has provided documentation showing that the tires installed on the Dodge Ram that Mr*** purchased from Arrotta's Automax were adequate for the pickup and that said tires would not cause the damages that Mr*** is claiming.Arrotta's Automax fulfilled all issues addressed in the negotiation process by installing the tires that Mr*** chose before the saleArrotta's also fixed the issues that were discovered in a 3rd party inspection Mr*** had performed prior to purchase It is unfortunate that Mr*** had additional expenses after arriving in Colorado but the tires and work performed before the sale did not cause the issues as Mr*** claims
