I just want to share my experience with everyone last night because things like this is something that can not go unheard of.

As many know I had a beautiful Silver Labador that I loved, adored and was utterly obsessed with, Topanga. Yesterday at 11 am I took her into her normal vet she has been going to since she was a pup, to get a spay down on her. They told me she wouldn't be able to get the surgery done on her until 4ish because they have other surgerys scheduled prior. I felt bad for making her wait back there for so long by her self but they said that had to be her drop off time. They called me at 4:18pm telling me she was done and was fine and did great! However they told me that I couldn't pick her up until 7pm because she wasn't waking up normally out of her anaesthesia, "but that is sometimes normal and sometimes bigger dogs take longer to wake up completely" word for word.

My dog was not coherent what so ever. When one of my brothers went to go pick up my dog for me around 7 because I was finishing up at work still, she was not coherent, she couldn't walk, they had to wheel her out to my car on a cart, her gums were white and her heart was racing like in this video! The vets told my brother when Topanga was getting out of the kennel to come out to the car to come home, she was wobbly and FELL!!! They said they took blood work and ultra sounds to see if everything was ok aftrr she fell and everything looked "normal". Ya bt! THEY TOLD US THAT SHE JUST NEEDED MORE TIME TO WAKE UP COMPLETELY FROM HER MEDS AND SHE WILL BE UP AND WALKING BY 8PM!!! Well that was NOT the case what so ever! She was like this at home for about an hour and half before I couldn't take it anymore and not seeing her snap out or come down from her meds I finally took her into a 24 hr emergency hospital where I experienced the worst night I have ever, will ever, in my life. I lost her, they preformed CPR on her 3 times and there wasn't anything they could do anymore.

This whole time I'm thinking the vet gave her too many meds (like they overdosed my dog). Come to find out she passed away from internal bleeding! Theresa M[redacted] from Arrow animal hospital is the one who preformed this surgery on her. LOOK HOW HUGE HER INCISION IS!! I have never in my life seen a spay or neuter with an incision longer than HALF the size of a pinky finger! SOMETHING OBVIOUSLY WENT WRONG DURING SURGERY FOR HER TO HAVE BEEN CUT OPEN THIS BIG!!! And another thing why would you EVER release a dog to go home when they are not coherent / stable!!?!?!?! She needed to be monitored and watched and they passed her off because it was 7pm and CLOSING TIME! it's a job, a paycheck to the vets over there!!!! It's not a passion, they don't care that they didnt follow SIMPLE procedures and regulations on a simple spay!! This hospital isnt a hole in the wall either, I've had dogs taken to hole in the wall clinics to get a neuter/ spay and they were NEVER near anything panga was like. These types of surgerys are so easy and get done 80 times a week im sure at Arrow Animal.

Nothing anyone can say or do can change the way I feel right now. I just wanted every one to know Topanga's story and to please please stay away from Arrow Animal Hospital. Please share this also to let as many people possible know so they never have to experience how I feel right now. She was literally my everything.

I've yet to even receive an apology from the hospital.

This was the exact post I shared on my Facebook.. after sharing on my Facebook I received over 500 emails of condolences, legal advice and also about THIRTY different stories of similar incidences or horrible experiences at the SAME hospital.. this has happened to other people and isn't the first time, and sadly probably won't be the last time. I have copies of everyones stories and there horrible experience at this hospital.. this whole hospital is corrupt and that needs to be brought to peoples attention!

I sent Topangas body to get a necropsy ( autopsy for animals) and the results came back with a massive blot clot found in the left side of her abdomen, acute hemoraging and internal bleeding.. her belly was filled with 52% full of fluid.. this hospital messed up on her so badly and it was simple rules and regulations that weren't followed.

I am not just writing this complaint for her and my experience but I am mainly writing this because I was absolutely blown away by how many other emails (stories) I received with horrid incidences at this hospital! this whole hospital needs to be reevaluated and The Revdex.com needs to please help make sure something like this never happens to anyone else!

The people need to know, our animals are family to us and its the hardest thing to lose a family member.

Review: I came in they gave me a written price with a down payment so I borrowed the money to get xrays for my dog then they wanted $43 more which I didn't have. This was not explained to me correctly when I was in the office. I also called back to reconfirm the amount needed while I was borrowing the money to make extra sure. The visit was a waste of time and money! I lost time at work for this appointment and had to pay for another office visit somewhere else to get the xrays my dog needed. I didn't have enough money to pay $50 for the prescriptions there. So they didn't even bother write my dogs prescriptions out. I had to call back and complain twice to get a hand written prescription so I could get them filled at walmart for $8. They tryed to bully me into paying more and then didn't even fulfill their legal and moral responsibility. They didn't care about my dog only about money and went about it unethical.Desired Settlement: I want an appology, a refund for the $49 office visit, and $10 for the gas I wasted to come there twice.

I would like to compliment Arrow Animal Hospital on the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the caring way my prescious dog was treated by Dr. [redacted] and his assistant. My dog a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix is very fearful of being hurt. After the tech took her temperature which she was sure was going to kill her, she was very afraid when Dr. [redacted] walked in. He must have spent 10 minutes making up to her, scratching her and calming her mood and gaining her trust. For the actual injection procedure he had me holding her and scratching her neck. His assistant was scratching her on the back and she was so distracted that she didn't even know she received 3 injections. These qualities are important to me and I consider this place our permanent vet clinic.
