I feel like I need to warn my military friends stationed in Ft.Carson ColoradoPlease feel feel to share!! I have put in a big complaint into Transportation about the local company they used to move our items to NebraskaThe company Arrow Moving and Storage-mayflower made our last move horrible! The customer service has been horribleOn July 26, we waited for our items to show up, we ended up having to hunt down the driver! He had no help and made us feel like we had to help him unload so he could move on to Kansas, we agreed to help himWell first thing first our items were packed in the back of the truckI actually witnessed this man throw some items over the truck bed to the ground that belonged to another family, he left a treadmill in the middle of the road, we had to move before someone ran into it! As he moved boxes from the truck we had a wine rack fall, he tossed a small heater and dragged out bedroom furnitureI freaked! Called the manager *** and flipped out! He said that following Monday a person from the claims department would call me, well weeks later I called them! I was then lead on a search find who I put my claim into! The claims office didn't even know! Odd I know how to do it and she doesn't! Well a month later and inspectors later, we had to move forward w the claim bc the inspector supposedly never turned in our paperwork! I think they lied! Anyhow the women *** in claims has become very rude and hateful bc I am in them! If I am told I will be priority I better be priority! I was nice up until weeks ago when she said she will no longer call the inspector about the paperworkWe were denied claims bc I didn't specifically word the damages, though I send on pictures and have spoke to them directly about the biggest damages! Please beware of them! They do not care about ur HHG! Deny the company of possible if they are recommending them! Move it yourself!! Please!!!

Arrow Moving & Storage - Misleading, Deceptive, Sloppy & Arrogant
We chose Arrow to move us from Colorado Springs to Florida in June, Their bid was competitive, and they promised services, such as free boxes for us to use in the part of the packing we would do our selves, and delivery of pantry items to the local food pantry
We discovered there was a gap between their marketing promise and their deliveryWhen we requested boxes, we were given used boxes that had to be reinforced with extra tape to be useable - our first clue of worse to comeWhen the packers arrived, they explained that the sales rep had underestimated the amount to be packed, and we would have to sign an amended contract for thousands of dollars more, or they could not load the truckWe signed UNDER PROTEST AND DURESSThe packers then told us they could not pack all the high value items we had, and left them for the loading team
IT GETS WORSEThe next day the movers arrived to load the truckAs we pointed out the high value items left, the driver also noticed that several high value items had been poorly packed or not labeled correctlyHe called the company to say that the unpacked items needed to be packed and some, such as a large screen 65" TV needed to be repackedAt first the company refused, but when he told them he would not move us unless a team came, the company sent a team overUnder the driver's supervision, the high value items were packed correctly or repackedThe next day, however, we discovered drawers of kitchen utensils and cabinets of food that had been left unpacked
We believed we were mislead, and their work was sloppy, but IT GETS WORSEWhen we arrived at our destination, we were advised that we could and should appeal to corporateOur load in fact came in under the weight of the original estimateWe did, and were assured by our Customer Rep that we would hear from corporate shortlyWe never didAfter a month, we received a check for $25.60, with no note, no apologyWe had thought we were being ignoredWe weren'tWe were being insulted
Our experience of Arrlow is that they engage in deceptive "bait and switch" bidding, misleading representation of their services, sloppy execution, and are corporately arrogantStay away!

I recently had a military (separation) move thru Arrow Moving & Storage, and I am pleased to write that I had a good experience with them.

The movers worked quickly and efficiently, completing my local move from start to finish in a single day. Things were packed well (with a lot of packing paper to prevent damage), and they were good about asking where I wanted boxes and items at destination.

They completed all specific requests of my move, and were pleasant to work with.

I have no issues to speak of, and would recommed them.

Although our belongings made it from Point A to Point B, this was not an easy experience and the end was extremely disappointing. Our movers did not put mats down on the carpet and seriously stained our carpet on our stairs right before a new owner was about to take new ownership of the house that he had seen with nice clean carpets. They also left early one day and came back and finished the next day, so thank goodness we planned an extra emergency day. When our belongings were delivered to the new home, the boxes were placed in incorrect rooms, the brand new carved hardwood floors were scuffed and scratched from sliding boxes instead of picking them up, and 2 of our larger items were damaged. When we filed a claim for the 2 broken furniture pieces (not just scratched, completely non-functional and broken) we were awarded a mere 14% of what they were worth (jointly), even though this company damaged the items. I do not recommend, we were very disappointed.

We contracted Arrow Moving & Storage to move my household goods from Colorado Springs to Aurora, CO. I had no issues whatsoever with the packers, or the movers professionalism, courtesy, or competence. While we are pretty sure that one box (containing some zip-ups and sweatshirts) was misplaced by the movers that is a smaller issue for me. During the move, two of our pieces of furniture were damaged beyond repair. A tray table holder had one of the stabilizing legs snapped off (valued at $150) and a cherry buffet/wine rack combination piece's front leg was splintered to the point where it can't support any weight (valued at $500.00). After several WEEKs of following up we received a settlement offer of $96.00 for BOTH items. Which is absurd, and the Claims Adjuster was singularly unhelpful when I attempted to find a middle ground. The claim was based on weight and not at all on the value of the item which is inherently unethical. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Most horrible moving and storage experience we have ever had in 20 years. The packers packed my husband's chemical gear with the kitchenware, the lost a 5 gallon tote full of shoes, lost our dishes, some of his military gear (the expensive gear of course), lost cd's, clothes....you name it. Not only that, they also delivered furniture damaged to our home. There were things I did not itemize because I could not put a value on it with good conscience. Apparently, my conscience is much better than theirs as they reimburse you little to nothing and then take months to get the check out. Not sure if the packers stole the items or the company is completely incompetent; either way, you should NEVER use this company.
