Mr [redacted] called about an advertised computer on [redacted]. The computer was a Dell Latitude priced at $300 due to a pixel being broken on the screen. He was informed that the particular laptop had already sold. We also informed him that we did have another Dell Latitude with the same specs in...

stock, priced at $450. He proceeded to come into our shop to look Dell we had in stock, after he was clearly informed that it was not the same laptop. He then had a conversation with our manager about the ad on [redacted], the manager went ahead and offered him the current laptop at $400 plus tax. He declined the offer and left our store. The same day Mr. [redacted] returned and purchased the Dell Latitude he had seen earlier in the day. When he left he was not unhappy in any way he made an informed decision on what he was purchasing and for how much.

Attached is a copy of the sales receipt showing when we sold the advertised computer. I also attached a copy of Mr. [redacted] receipt. I hope this can all soon be resolved. Please notify me if you need anything further.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This response is untrue as well as somewhat ridiculous, they are basically saying they chose to advertise a defective product rather than the good products and at the same time not disclosing that the product was damaged in the advertisement. (See attachment "screenshot.jpg") Sounds to me like they just admitted to non-disclosure as well as false advertising. As far as them disclosing any details when I called "He was informed that the particular laptop had already sold. We also informed him that we did have another Dell Latitude with the same specs in stock, priced at $450" This is also completely untrue, I record every phone call I make as well as receive. (see mp3 attachment)The third claim of me purchasing the laptop is also untrue, I have never purchased anything from this merchant.Regards,[redacted]
