Dear Revdex.com
The issue with Mr [redacted] has been resolved.  We have met Mr. [redacted] Property Management Company representative on the premises to evaluate the course of action.  The tenant states he saw several people leaving in a truck that afternoon and assumed it was Arrow Roofing Inc.  Our follow up for repair work at Mr. [redacted] home was in reference to painting his fascia which by the way was never included in any scope of work we had with Mr. [redacted] but chose to do for him at no charge.  In order to paint the fascia we discovered the fascia was in very poor condition and needed to be scraped and caulked first.  This would require only one to two people max to complete.  And it was the fascia to the left of the front door and over the garage to the left also.  There was never any need to be at his front door or to be searching for any paint under a chair where the tenants product was supposing spilt by us.
We have disputed that we were negligent in spilling over the material that the tenant works with and says he had placed under the chair. He doesn't even know who he saw leaving that afternoon.  But because of trying to maintain customer relations with the Property Management Company that we also are contracted out to do work for....we agreed to paint the front area by the front door with a grey to match the cement.  The Property Management agrees with Arrow Roofing that the cement is very old and in bad condition and it would not require Arrow Roofing to replace the concrete as Mr. [redacted] was implying ...but that a simple painting of the area would suffice.
So as a result of our meeting the Property Management we have agreed that they will handle getting the area painted and Arrow Roofing would pay the expense to paint the area.  The Management Company has several contractors that handle this kind of work and will seek someone they know to complete Mr. [redacted] repair but however everyone is very backed up and so we are waiting for the bid and for them to complete the work.
This has been resolved best to our ability even though we feel that we are being accused falsely.  We have agreed with the Property Management that we would cover the expense to paint.  Sincerely, [redacted]

We have spoken to Mr [redacted] on many occasions and never have assumed fault in the stain.  The product that stained the concrete was not ours.  It is an acid of some type that the owners tenant works with and that the renter states we spilled while we were there.  We...

didn't think it was a big issue to try and remove this stain for our customer in wanted to maintain good customer relations even though it was not our doing.  But it is apparent that Mr [redacted] is not content with our cleaning attempt but wants his cracked front patio replaced.  This will NOT happen....  We did however offer to paint that patio area for him and he seemed content with that during our conversation on Oct. 25th.  In order to proceed with the painting we need to have his written approval to do the work and document the color of his choice.  This was our last conversation with him and we are to contact his management company Oct. 27th Monday with our proposal in writing for him.
Thank you, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,
I am lost for words with the issue with [redacted].  We have completed all his work per his contract and then some.  The reason I say that is because Mr [redacted] had a tree fall on his roof and am sure he had interior damage as a result.  This job was not done per Mr. [redacted] insurance...rather the job was done strictly as a cash job for the customer upon his request.  We gave him an estimate for the work which DID NOT INCLUDE interior damage and he accepted.  It was AFTER the work that Mr. [redacted] started complaining and VERY rudely complaining.  He had an issue with a shovel placed in the ground ?? Really ?  Well its my knowledge never to lay a shovel down.  Reason not to want to pay us his balance of $6324.00?  I would say not!
I have attached an email sent to our company by Mr. [redacted] as proof of his hostility and rudeness.  The issues were all being handled and we were in contact with him at all times.  This rude attitude continued with him not allowing us on the property to clean up and then complaining that we did not clean up etc.
Mr [redacted] insisted that the roof leaked in the area repaired by our carpenter where the tree had fallen.... He kept insisting that the interior damage was our fault.  WELL the tree falling on his home is the cause for that!!! Regardless.... we did do the interior repairs for him at no charge to Mr. [redacted].   Even the carpenter that did the repair on the area with the tree damage was witness to the interior damage PRIOR to him starting the work and he will confess to that if need be.
In addition to the interior being done for him he demanded some sort of discount as well?!  I don't know why because all his demands were met.  We even found him another old TV Dish since one of the two Satellite dishes was discarded by error.  The crew was unaware that he was saving the 2 TV Satellite dishes to sell.  Regardless of all the drama he created we did agree to give him a $600.00 credit.
Thankfully we got thru all this and Mr. [redacted] is paid in full.  He did not allow us to run the job thru his insurance so we cannot report back to them for him.  Some customers want estimates rather than have the Contractor go thru their insurance because of personal reasons ??? So no we are not filing with insurance a completion notice.  He will have to handle that as he sated to us from the very beginning that this was NOT an insurance job.  I hope this clears some of the confusion because I am still in awww of how he handled everything.  Thank You, [redacted]  ( and my spelling isn't and issue !!)

My insulation company man was up looking around in the attic for me and can see rays of sun coming through an area that should have been sealed. The company did not finish attaching a downspout. [redacted] cannot spell (see her misspellings) and she is NOT billing the insurance company, which is a lie. When asked to take off the satellite dish, one of their lackies left it swinging from a soffit attached to the cable wire for one week. One sharpie thought it would be funny to move my shovel away from the house so he stabbed it way deep into my rye lawn. I have more photos of their failures than their successes. Wanna see them?

Regards,

I received many estimates for two small roofing jobs at my home, and decided to go with Arrow Roofing because I had the first impression that the estimator was by far the most professional of the companies I received estimates from. I was dead wrong. While signing a contract and giving them $750 down payment/deposit on September 10th (2015) they promised they would have the small jobs started and completed by September 30th. In Sept 22nd, one week before they said they would 'knock out the job in one afternoon', the owner's son Middleton came to review the work that needed to be done. The next day I get a call from Duane (who didn't identify himself but I later learned was the owner), and Duane said he couldn't warranty the work in the contract, as the contract I signed stated it could. He was trying to get me to decide to replace expensive skylight windows that didn't need replacing. He finished the conversation by saying I would be contacted by Dave S[redacted], the estimator. I recieved no calls back from anyone and one week later, on Sept. 30 (Wed), when I was promised they would do the work, there were a NO-SHOW, NO-CALL, NO-RETURN CALL, No-APOLOGY. I had coordinated with my neighbor to use their driveway, in order to make it easier to deliver the shingles, and I made arrangements to have the dogs elsewhere, and stayed home arranging my schedule to get this done. By 2:30pm no-one had called nor shown up. I called the Arrow Roofing office and left a message, I later called the estimator too and left a message. Apparently, as I learned later, Dave was in Mexico on vacation, they didn't want send a crew without a supervisor, and they had no intention of doing the roof that day - yet did not tell me. No apologies, when I later talked with employees, and instead I was told "[They] were doing me favor to squeeze me in", as contrasted with a very clear verbal promise they definitely would have it done before the end of September. That was an obvious flat lie and that didn't settle well. I then proceeded to call Dave S[redacted] every few days asking when they were going to schedule the job...I did that for two weeks. Some of my calls were not returned, and no date was ever scheduled to start/complete these small jobs as of October 12. My last effort (with this two week grace-period) was when I called early Monday morning (10-12-2015) and left a message for a return call, and no-one called. So 2 weeks after my roof should have been completed, I had no date on the schedule to do it, money out and a contract, and just disrespectful indifference and lack of follow thru on their contract. I left a message late 10-12-2015 on the office phone and asked them if ever intended to make good on their contract, or whether they preferred I file a complaint (Revdex.com and others). I went to a Prescott Social Media site that discusses local business services, and inquired if others have had such poor customer service experiences with Arrow Roofing. I received NUMEROUS private responses about this company, their disrespectful customer service, and one customer said they "had to babysit the roofing crew" to make sure the job was done correctly. The next two days I was traveling and out of cell phone range driving across state. During this time, the estimator called and left a message for me to call him, and then the following day an employee called saying "[They] just didn't feel right keeping my deposit and since they couldn't get a hold of me" (called me for 1.5 work days, I'd been calling them for two weeks) "they were going to return my deposit check". I was out of town/state and someone stuck a check for the return of $750 in my front door that same day (10-14-15). I did not return from out of state until 5 days later and was shocked to see they dropped out the check (I had my mail held during this time). Anyone coming to the door was able to steal the check in plain sight.

The bottom line is that they delayed my time-sensitive repairs by at least 5 weeks, putting all sorts of issues/activities into expensive delays. THIS COMPANY HAS PROVEN ITSELF NOT TO BE TRUSTWORTHY, HONOR THEIR CONTRACTS, NOR HANDLE THEIR CUSTOMER RELATIONS NOR FISCAL ASPECTS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. There is much more I have learned from strangers about this company on social media, but that is second hand information and not part of my direct experience - just know it is out there. There are problems with Arrow Roofing and the A+ rating is a default rating, not a true rating for this company.

I purchased this home in 2012 with the relief that the roof was just redone and still had a 25 year warranty on parts and labor. After only 2 years of having the roof redone, the sand on the shingles was almost non existent. I called Mark W[redacted] who claimed he was the owner. He stated that he would send an inspector over to look at the roof. Unfortunately there was snow on the ground which he said would make it too dangerous to inspect. He asked me for the receipt that I had and quickly took it from me. Since it was the only receipt that I had I lost all the proof of services. I have called their office on several occasions without a return call. Now I'm stuck with a bad roof. Spare yourself from getting ripped off and avoid this company like the plague!

Review: Arrow Roofing was awarded over $9000 insurance money to replace a roof for my property in Yavapai Hills, Prescott AZ after some hail storm damage July 2013 and as well to do painting and a comb out of my roof-top air-conditioning unit. Arrow did the painting and sub contracted the air-conditioning repair. On later examination of their repair I noted that the hail damaged fascia was left unpainted (covered by insurance) and then after contacting [redacted] at Arrow, their painters returned and in two visits over several weeks, completed the painting. Arrow's rep, [redacted], son of the owners- later informed me that they had a problem- his painters "had an accident" with a can of staining acid, that was stored in a secured paint can, and inadvertently spilled the contents onto the front porch cement badly damaging that porch area cement outside the front door with a large and extremely ugly white mark. [redacted], at Arrow, apologized and stated that they would make it right and return to get the stain out- I met [redacted] and his painters in August with my contractor and as well the retired police officer tenant when [redacted] and his crew again acknowledged that they could and would repair their damage. They stated to all present, that the repair would be completed by the end of Friday August 22, 2014. Despite many reassurances since then, to myself and my management company, the cement remains badly stained and Arrow has now most recently even started refusing to take responsibility for the repair of their damage to my property.Desired Settlement: Despite their multiple attempts using an assortment of repair techniques, the damage has now only worsened with their treatments. I want the damaged cement replaced so to return as close as possible to the original quality of stain-free cement. And this within a reasonable time-frame.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The proposed repairs to the cement are currently being directly handled by my management company representative and remain to be completed by Arrow Roofing. I have been told that these same repairs would be done for over two months as deadlines passed and so I continue to wait for a resolution to be actually completed. The Revdex.com gives 7 days to respond here and so, as of this writing, the pictures attached taken Saturday Nov 1, 2014 show the current status of the stain still remaining.

I want to emphasize that the actual roof work done by Arrow was excellent, but the follow-up on repairing the damage from the accidental spill unfortunately turned highly acrimonious and that resulted in this complaint, still as yet, unresolved.

This company was called to perform a roofing inspection on a house that I intended to (and did) purchase. I found out after I purchased the home that the seller happened to be at the property the day the inspection took place. The inspector was "too scared" to get up onto the roof to do a proper inspection and simply observed the roof from ground level. He gave my realtor me a letter that stated the roof was in great shape and should last another 5-7 years.

WRONG!

Upon tearing out the wallpaper in the breakfast nook, we were greeted by mold. We traced the leak up to the HVAC vent where - lo and behold - there was a huge crack in the sealant around the vent along with buckled and broken shingles that cannot be seen from the ground! There are many other issues with the roof that should have been noted in the inspection report such as raised nails, broken shingles, and buckled shingles.

What is the point of having a roofing inspection if the inspector won't get on the roof!

Needless to say, we're EXTREMELY disappointed in this company.

I hired this company to fix my roof from hail damage and drywallers from their company. The drywallers wwere inexperinced. No drop clothes over my furniture or personal items. My carpet now has latex paint in spots on them. They didn't texture. Apromise to be here and no show.

Now also the company has sent a very little man to clean my carpets. He expected to just come in and do spot cleaning (?). Then when I told him he needed to clean the carpeting he decides he can't do it by himelf. DAH!!

Now today I was told someone would be here between 0800 and 0830. It is now 0905 and no show. No calls not even a flower. I want to report this company because I have just goptten a job and took off today to be here. So not only am I missing out on the money but my time is precious also.

I am holding onto the last check that the insurance company swent to me until this is resolved. But fpr the inconsideration of these people in this company. I wanted to report their poor professionalism. [redacted]

Review: Arrow Roofing was consulted in August 2015 by myself when a tree fell on my house roof; they hired a sub contractor to do carpentry; it took weeks and the carpenters left unshielded raw wood with a hole in one section during the September and October storms. Water damage was done all the way to ceilings in two rooms because of the seapage caused by their contractors. One employee admitted to stealing one of my satellite dishes; one also stole a small tool used for scraping windows. One employee jammed my shovel into my yard. One employee left one satellite dish dangling from a wire off my house roof for several days. One employee gave up on securing the evap cooler to the roof; it is still not secure; one employee gave up on securing the chimney cap; it is still not secure.Desired Settlement: My insulation company was I the attic yesterday and says they did $625 in damages
