We were recommended to keep him off the floors (after completion) for 24 to 48 hours. We kept our dog off the floors for over 48 hours. Within days, the scratches all over the floors were extremely noticeable. In fact, the scratches were dramatically more noticeable than before we had the work done by Arrowhead, and we’ve had a dog since 2006. We reached out to Arrowhead to discuss two topics: 1) a request for quote to put new floors in our family room, and 2) is there something that can be done to help with the scratches. It seemed to us that when he saw the floors, he could not get out of our house fast enough. Several calls, text messages and e-mails, after his visit, went unanswered. We finally had to contact our re-modeler who recommend him. It is our assumption that we finally heard from Arrowhead only after we reached out to our remodeler. We were promised two things, 1) a quote for the new floors, and 2) a meeting with the company that provided the sealant used on the resurfaced floors. This communication was made on July 29th. As of today (August 15th) we have not received a reply to multiple messages (phone or e-mail). It is our opinion that he has completely dis-engaged. To verify our assumption that the work provided was below industry standard and did not meet our expectations, we have had multiple hardwood floor companies come into the house. We have also met with several interior decorators. All who have come into our house said they were shocked and surprised when we told them the floors were recently resurfaced. None of them could believe it. They all said something was missed or not done correctly. It is our opinion, based on all the above, that the work provided by Arrowhead Hardwood Floors was below industry standard and was not done correctly. We feel that we have given Arrowhead every opportunity to work with us on a solution and are convinced, by the complete lack of responsiveness or communication, that he does not have any interest in trying to rectify the situation.
