Hello - thank you for sharing your experience with us! We looked into the stated problem, and currently show a balance of $for the patientWhat he may have received is an Estimation of Benefits (EOB) from Aetna, which typically will show a 'patient responsibility,' but is not a bill from
Arrowhead Health CentersIf/when *** receives a bill from Arrowhead Health Centers, we're more than happy to help walk through itCarrie ***, our Assistant Billing Manager, has been briefed on the situation and can be reached at *** ***

Arrowhead advertises an alternative to total knee replacement by using stem cellsI suffer from osteoarthritis, so l met with one of their doctors, and was assured that their approach would regenerate the cartilageAfter paying $2,250.00, and having the procedures, it didn't workThey never followed up to monitor my progressMy pain continued, so I went to another orthopedic doctor, and was told after viewing my x-rays, that I have no cartilageWhen I asked about stem cells regenerating cartilage, he stated that it not possible because blood doesn't flow through itArrowhead, continues to advertise this obvious lie

I am very displeased with the service and practices by Arrowhead, and want to warn others about doing business with them
Arrowhead responded to an internet inquiry I made about getting medical help for a matter involving my knee I made an introductory visit to their office off *** to view their facilities Their consultant, Linda F*, was not there at that time, so we scheduled a second visit to meet her On this second visit, MsF* advised the different types of services available to help my knee, and asked that I obtain x-rays and MRI of the knee I did this, then called three times to schedule a folloffice visit
On the first call, I was advised they would return the call that same day They did not On the second and third calls, I was advised they would have to get back with me They did not
I would have dropped the matter, but then I received an invoice showing that they had charged my insurance $for the second visit, and invoiced me for $ This is unbelievable, since no services were provided, and no communication was given to me that there would be charges

I first talked with Adrienne A*** about the O Active Osteoarthritis Knee Brace that DrKent V*** ordered for me He tole me these braces were better than any other ones Adrienne told me the braces were covered by Medicare I( was later sent a bill for $7,for the braces I later got a bill for $1, I talked with her later about the bill and she said she would resubmit the bill again I recently talked with Medicare and was told that Adrienne never resubmitted the bill Arrowhead Health center N59th Avenue Ste A-Glendale, Arizona send me a bill for the braces that can be purchased for $with cashI do not believe I owe $1,for the braces I have tried to call the billing department, but I can never get a hold of the billing department Adrienne seem to be responsible for billingThis need to be taken care of for a decent price I am not the insurance company They have many complaints on Yelp & Rip Off

We have called to accept the patient's offer. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused her. We hope her treatment was well, and she is doing better

This is in regards to the *** location
This office has no respect for their patients at allI gave the benefit of the doubt and decided to ignore their poor reviews - big mistakeIf you are considering making an appointment, I highly do not suggest it
I originally went in for my severe back pain and I was sent to *** to get an X-rayAs I was about to get my X-ray, the technician informed me that she would be taking an X-ray of my neckI was very confused by this because the pain was in my back, not my neckShe informed me that I would need to contact my doctor and that she would need to explain to me why she wanted an X-ray of my neck
When I tried to contact my doctor I was told that she was out of the office and would hear back from her when she returnedObviously I didn't receive a call back and decided to contact her againThis time when I called, I was informed that she was out of town and would be out for the following weekThe receptionist explained that I would need to come back in for a reevaluationI questioned if I would need to pay the copay again and she said yesI asked for her manager and she placed me on hold for minutes to only come back to tell me that their manager was busy and that I had to leave a voicemailOne week passes and I have still yet to hear back from this "manager"I decided to call againOnce again their manager is not available but this time the receptionist explained that she would pass along my number and make sure that I got a call backUnfortunately, once again no call backI decided to give it one last tryThis time the receptionist tried to get me in contact with their district managerHowever, he wasn't available of courseI was told that he is very good about returning phone calls and to just leave him a voicemail
I never got the call back from the manager nor district managerLet's not forget, that after weeks I still never received a phone call from my doctor like I was promisedAlso, I am still experiencing chronic back pain and never received any help
I do not recommend this place to anyone and I will most definitely be filing a complaint with my insurance company

I love the girls up front at check-in, my pcp is truly amazing , on my last visit there, I made it perfectly clear that I don't want see shauob ever again, he is smug , snooty and is real quick with arrogance and doesn't give a person a chance to explain. When I was talking to the girls up front, they preceded to tell me that I had an appt with him. They did this without my consent or authorization. Glad I found out before I went in. There would have been a bad thing like walking out. I would like confirming email to [email protected]. I would like know how this happened. Thanks, Stephen Lynn 06/17/1957. I already know not much will happen and I know that I have the choice to choose whom I want. I really hate to leave arrow head but I can go anywhere with my insurance company. Thanks for listening

Good morning. We would firstly like to apologize for any confusion that has resulted from this. Medicare covers custom knee bracing once every 3 years. When discussing this as a general benefit, it is true that Medicare covers this product. In this case, Jean had received bracing from another...

provider only one year prior, which is why the coverage was denied (the original charge Jean referenced totaling $7,391.31). [redacted] did sign an ABN acknowledging that if Medicare did not pay, she would be responsible for $1,700.00 (our self pay rate), so her initial bill was adjusted to the cash pay rate after the denial from Medicare. After billing the cash pay rate to Jean, we were notified that she was unhappy with this via her first Revdex.com complaint, so we billed her at direct cost to the company, which is $817.00. As we know these things can be confusing, we want to help Jean as much as we can. As such, we are only billing her the $817.00 to cover the vendor's expense for the product she received.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Good morning! J[redacted] has a 3 year warranty on her braces (effective until 7/15/2018), and as we have offered previously, we are more than happy to schedule her an appointment so she can come have them adjusted or repaired as needed. We have also reached out to our bracing supplier to contact Jean to see if there's anything they can do to help. We apologize again for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused.

ARROWHEAD HEALTH CLINIC HAS DONE NOTHING ,BUT LIE TO ME.  THE BRACES ARE FOLLOWING APART AND BECAUSE OF THERE CLINIC I CAN NOT GET THEM REPAIRED.  THEY HAVE ALL KINDS OF COMPLAINTS ON YELP.  THEY HAVE RIPPED PEOPLE OFF ON THEIR BILLS ALONG WITH MYSELF.  I HAVE AN APPEAL WITH MEDICARE ABOUT THIS BILL AND HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM YET.  I BELIEVE THAT THEY HAVE BEEN LYING ALL ALONG.  IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THEY QUIT LYING TO THE PEOPLE THAT GO TO THIS CLINIC.  MOST OF THE COMPLAINTS WERE BILLING.  THESE BRACES ARE REALLY CHEAP.

We have reviewed Jack's complaint and spoken with the billing team. According to our Electronic Medical Records system, all claims have been sent to [redacted] and [redacted] secondary. We reviewed the prior bills that have been sent out, and the process is following Jack's requested...

settlement.  We have double checked and confirmed we correctly sent claims and bills to [redacted]. In reviewing this case, we discovered that although uncommon, [redacted] will sometimes forward claims automatically if they think there is another primary insurer. Given that Carrie has had [redacted] in the past, it's possible that [redacted] is still forwarding claims to [redacted] (hence the denial letters). This is an issue that would require Carrie or Jack to contact [redacted] directly to rectify, unfortunately. We 100% understand the frustration and confusion surrounding this process, and hope that this clarification will help Jack and Carrie get the [redacted] claim issue rectified.  If they would like, we can set up a meeting and show them the claims that were sent and give proof we have not sent anything to [redacted].  That meeting can be set-up with Amy, our Billing Manager, and Guy B[redacted] the COO.

I have been going to the Arrowhead Health Centers Surprise office for several years when I started I saw Rebecca, she started to do test and not explaining why recommend I go to another doctor for test which not sure why she wasn't the type to explain and just thought what ever she advised you should listen. So I switched to Dr Robert West he was great, pleasant and upfront with what ever he recommended, got my husband to go to him. When he was in the Surprise office it seemed to run great. Then he moved to Glendale office. Sure miss him. Then the office went to heck. Service went down hill from there. The office manger never returns calls, when a patient request assistance. Last month I wanted to sign up for a diabetes class they were advertiving on their TV, one of the front desk agents signed me up said I would get a call, never did so called back on Monday they took another message for someone to callback, no one did. On Tuesday was my wellness visit that is when I finally found what I needed to do guess what I was too late to sign up had to wait until the next month to go. Now regarding my wellness visit was a joke. Jamie did my physical, which consisted of a few questions and a breast exam with my cloths on and sitting up and they charge my insurance for 179.00 for really doing nothing. I could go on but sure you get the point by now what this office is like. Looking for a new doctor and away from Arrowhead Health Centers. They just abuse the patience and insurance co. Which in the long run patience pay for this abuse, with high deductibles.

I first talked with Adrienne A[redacted] about the O Active Osteoarthritis Knee Brace that Dr. Kent V[redacted] ordered for me. He tole me these braces were better than any other ones. Adrienne told me the braces were covered by Medicare. I( was later sent a bill for $7,391. 31 for the braces. I later got a bill for $1,700.00. I talked with her later about the bill and she said she would resubmit the bill again. I recently talked with Medicare and was told that Adrienne never resubmitted the bill. Arrowhead Health center 16222 N. 59th Avenue Ste A-100 Glendale, Arizona 85306 send me a bill for the braces that can be purchased for $605.00 with cash. I do not believe I owe $1,700.00 for the braces. I have tried to call the billing department, but I can never get a hold of the billing department. Adrienne seem to be responsible for billing. This need to be taken care of for a decent price. I am not the insurance company. They have many complaints on Yelp & Rip Off.

I am very displeased with the service and practices by Arrowhead, and want to warn others about doing business with them.

Arrowhead responded to an internet inquiry I made about getting medical help for a matter involving my knee. I made an introductory visit to their office off [redacted] to view their facilities. Their consultant, Linda F[redacted], was not there at that time, so we scheduled a second visit to meet her. On this second visit, Ms. F[redacted] advised the different types of services available to help my knee, and asked that I obtain x-rays and MRI of the knee. I did this, then called three times to schedule a follow-up office visit.

On the first call, I was advised they would return the call that same day. They did not. On the second and third calls, I was advised they would have to get back with me. They did not.

I would have dropped the matter, but then I received an invoice showing that they had charged my insurance $144 for the second visit, and invoiced me for $10. This is unbelievable, since no services were provided, and no communication was given to me that there would be charges.

I am a low income patient and thus have little money to spend on medical treatments. I explained this many times while going to one of their centers. The nurses and doctors were in the past very helpful with my situation financially. A few months ago they started pushing specialists on both me and my fiancee for pretty much anything more than a cold or a sprained ankle. Call backs are now taking 2-5 days to get back. A gentlemen from the location was supposed to call me with a referral to another specialist and when his call was missed I returned his call and have not revived a call back in over two weeks. A employee on the phone when I was frustrated and upset(I was most likely rude due to the current treatment) told me if I did not like it I should look for a new doctor. They have now cut me off from vital medication for mental health issues and will no longer be prescribing the medication I need because I need a specialist again. This is after over 2 years of prescribing the medication and adjusting the medications.

This is in regards to the [redacted] location.

This office has no respect for their patients at all. I gave the benefit of the doubt and decided to ignore their poor reviews - big mistake. If you are considering making an appointment, I highly do not suggest it.

I originally went in for my severe back pain and I was sent to [redacted] to get an X-ray. As I was about to get my X-ray, the technician informed me that she would be taking an X-ray of my neck. I was very confused by this because the pain was in my back, not my neck. She informed me that I would need to contact my doctor and that she would need to explain to me why she wanted an X-ray of my neck.

When I tried to contact my doctor I was told that she was out of the office and would hear back from her when she returned. Obviously I didn't receive a call back and decided to contact her again. This time when I called, I was informed that she was out of town and would be out for the following week. The receptionist explained that I would need to come back in for a reevaluation. I questioned if I would need to pay the copay again and she said yes. I asked for her manager and she placed me on hold for 10 minutes to only come back to tell me that their manager was busy and that I had to leave a voicemail. One week passes and I have still yet to hear back from this "manager". I decided to call again. Once again their manager is not available but this time the receptionist explained that she would pass along my number and make sure that I got a call back. Unfortunately, once again no call back. I decided to give it one last try. This time the receptionist tried to get me in contact with their district manager. However, he wasn't available of course. I was told that he is very good about returning phone calls and to just leave him a voicemail.

I never got the call back from the manager nor district manager. Let's not forget, that after 2 weeks I still never received a phone call from my doctor like I was promised. Also, I am still experiencing chronic back pain and never received any help.

I do not recommend this place to anyone and I will most definitely be filing a complaint with my insurance company.
