Arrowpoint Kennels

I get a kennel is not home. I was uncomfortable leaving my dog there in the first place. But, the staff was friendly enough, the dogs looked cared for, and the place seemed clean. When I picked my dog up none of the provided food bags were used. He and his bedding were soaked through and there was old poop all over his kennel run.

Review: On June 21, 2014, we left our 2 1/2 year old Bichon/Poodle at Arrowpoint Kennels while we took a family trip to Hawaii. He was to be in their care until June 30, 2014.

On June 29, 2014, I received a call from the Kennel that my dog was missing. This call came six hours after he was found missing.

My family and I caught an early flight home and we searched day and night for tow days for our beloved dog, Teddy. After two days of searching, we found Teddy's body in a field of sunflowers.

During our entire search. The Kennel staff did NOT assist with searching for Teddy. The Kennel received a tip that Teddy was seen running through the sunflower fields, but the Kennel did not bother giving us that tip which had us searching in the wrong area for an entire day.

Arrowpoint has given no explanation as to how Teddy got out of two gates (which we later found they have locks on them). They have also not given any reassurance that the Kennel will be fixed to assure no other family will have to lose a pet due to their negligence.

To this day, we have not received a word form Arrowpoint Kennels Nothing. Not a explanation, not an offer of condolence, not a thing.

They continue to run business as usual-people dropping their pets there have no idea what happened there three weeks ago. These pet owners deserve to know that Arrowpoint Kennels lost a precious family pet in their care because of their negligence, our dog died. In addition, their business license needs to be investigated. We have since found out that they have lost dogs before. Never have they reported a dog they've lost to Animal services, as this would have resulted in an investigation.

Please consider this a formal complaint against Arrowpoint Kennels. I am hopeful their business license will be investigated.Desired Settlement: I would like a written explanation and apology
