Stay away from hiring Arroyo for pool work! Contracted Jose Arroyo to do a small pool repair in the summer of After one season, the repair failed and water penetrated through Arroyo’s work After multiple attempts to contact him and several no-shows to scheduled appointments, Jose finally arrived He did a very rough repair of visible damage, and claimed that when work calmed down he would have to come back to rip out and replace everything he did the previous summer A two year warranty was included with the work but this is useless since he never responds to calls and emails! I contacted the Revdex.com and he wouldn’t respond to them either! Save yourself the time and aggravation by choosing another company!

Review: Hello,Thanks in advance for your assistance in resolving this issue. Jose A[redacted] performed a repair to my pool on June 28th, 2013 for $500 with a signed two year warranty. Arroyo replaced damaged tile with new coping on the top of the wall separating my pool from the spa. Upon opening the pool this season in early June, 2014, I noticed that some of the mortar had started to crack and peel away and one of the coping materials had a fine crack. After several attempts to contact Jose by phone and email, and after he missed several scheduled appointments, he finally responded on June 30th and arrived July 1st to perform a VERY "rough" repair placing beads of caulk where the mortar was cracked and falling out. He pointed out the the work he previously performed in 2013 would need to be entirely redone as the area beneath the coping was hollowed out. Water may have penetrated due to the failure of the mortar. He advised that when things "died down", he would come back to repair. I've made three attempts to reach Jose over the last 2 months and have not had a single response. My frustration has reached a boiling point.Desired Settlement: Since I no longer trust Jose A[redacted] to honor an mutually agreed upon appointment and the amount of time I have invested to date attempting to reach Jose, I'd like a full $500 refund.
