I am rejecting this response because:
Mr. [redacted] is running out of answers and coming up with lies again.  When I FIRST met him at MY HOME to discuss what I needed I had FOUR projects to be done which I discussed with him. He told me that I could get...

"Whatever I wanted" for a design on the cabinetry on the loft. He initially quoted $12,900.00 for all the work. He never provided me with a complete breakdown for each individual project nor a drawing for the cabinetry in the loft. I then asked him to provide me with a preliminary design and a breakdown. He then sent me a 2nd project proposal that added up to more than 13,000 plus dollars and said that if I wanted to do the work as individual projects it would cost me more as opposed to COMMITTING all the work to be done. It never meant for him to come in in ONE OR TWO DAYS  to do all the work. He wanted MORE business and he said that because I was giving him all four projects he was PROVIDING ME  A DISCOUNT!  On March 7, 2014 he was quick to have me sign a contract and asked for $4,000.00.  I was told to visit his shop to go over the design for the loft cabinetry, which was COMPLETELY different from the rest of the cabinetry at my home. When I saw something I liked he increased his price.  Having already paid him $4,000.00 I felt NO CHOICE but to pay him an additional $576.00.  Mr. [redacted] presented me with two doors sample colors, which appeared to be the same door. The color wasn't any close to my current scheme. He brought in the door and also collected an additional $2,000.00.  Mr. [redacted] was simply too busy and he probably had to order items online. Bottom line here is that I had asked Mr. [redacted] to start the work and he gave me excuses to begin the installation.  You can't pocket people's money and not do any work.  His excuses were that his staff was sick with bronchitis and 2nd, he wanted to do all the work at once.  That wasn't acceptable to me but I couldn't force him and I don't think ANYONE could force him to do anything.  He was probably too busy with too many jobs here and there.  I had a flood on 5/1/14 and he had the audacity to offer me to rebuild my kitchen and act as a "general contractor". He is not licensed as a general contractor.  I don't trust him. The contract stated that work would begin 3-4 weeks from acceptance and yet when I asked to do the work he refused.  I demand a full refund of my money.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: The owner of this business changed contracted prices for work he was originally hired to do. I learned that is called "price changing" after is successful in getting a big job. Mr. [redacted], owner of this company, changed the price of work he was supposed to complete. I nonetheless paid him in good faith the price increase. I asked him to start the work after 3-4 works after he was hired and he came up with excuses to start the work. Ultimately I had a flood at my house; the home became uninhabitable and dangerous. I sustained a complete loss of my kitchen cabinetry and great room. In lieu of the fact that Mr. [redacted] refused to do the work in a timely manner as requested I asked him to refund me my money back. He is refusing.Desired Settlement: The owner of this company is quite dishonest. He never started any work at my home and he is reluctant to refund my money. My goal is for him to refund the entire money I paid him since he was reluctant to start the work when requested to do so.
