I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12176116, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Furthermore, A.R.T Furniture has contacted me to resolve this issue since Mega did not handle the situation properly. They have been professional and easy to work with. The CEO reached out to me personally and I though that was amazing customer service that you just don't see anymore. I am confident that A.R.T will follow through with replacement as they have told me they are in process of doing, and use a 3rd party delivery that is more experienced so that my pieces are put together correct. [redacted]

Dear Ms. Miriam Carmona, This email is in regards to [redacted] and Mega Furniture (AKA Dollar Days). We received a claim back in April 2017 and it was immediately reviewed with A.R.T. Furniture’s internal Claims Analyst, Customer Service Manager, and V.P. of Product Development. They all came to...

the conclusion the table had been mishandled in some way, and the issues the customer was having were not manufacturing defects therefore were not covered under A.R.T. Furniture’s warranty (as attached). Our Claims Analyst did notice that the customer [redacted] purchased a “Guardsman” warranty from Mega Furniture see attached sales order. This type of extended warranty (Guardsman) covers issues like this, and all Ms. [redacted] would need to do is file the claim with Guardsman in order to get a replacement table top. As for the chair, A.R.T. Furniture agreed to ship the customer a chair back only (we cannot replace 1 chair only so chair back is our standard solution to these issues) to replace the one that had issues as those were manufacturing defects.  The chair back is scheduled to ship this week.   Please note we feel A.R.T. Furniture resolved this issue for Mega Furniture (AKA Dollar Days) and they failed to notify their customer of the intent. Also attached are email correspondence to Mega Furniture, a Mega Furniture Sales Order, and  A.R.T. Furniture’s order confirmation for the chair back.
