DO NOT LET THIS GUY DO BUSINESS WITH YOU.
He takes your stuff, especially elderly, and never gives you a list, explain prices etc. he will first sell one item to get you excited then he steals the rest and does not call you back. He wont tell you where his business is located either.
He took a famous Actor, my Dad, and took advantage of the items when my dad was late 80's 2 years ago. My dad has now past away and my Mom IS LEFT WITH NO MONEY from these items he stole. [redacted]

Nov 9/13 took estate items to sell. Indicated all is sold but no payment ever received. Breach of contract/Failure to communicate.I hired [redacted] (Art & Needful Things) by phone to help with estate items for aunt's estate. Nov. 9/13 [redacted] came to [redacted], SK to appraise and take estate items to sell on my behalf, as executor of my aunt's estate. He took many items (a truckload full) which we tried to document on the contract but he packed so quickly that many were not itemized - which I take responsibility for. He was not even going to give me a copy of the contract - fortunately I took a picture with my phone. I do have photographs of much of what he did take and have questioned him on these items several times but he never responded. From December/13 to April/14 I sent several e-mails to the Art and Needful Things website to which I received no response. E-mail communication from [redacted] began after the estate lawyer contacted him in April. Since that time [redacted] made numerous promises (verbally and in writing) that have not resulted in proper follow-through. Procrastinations, empty promises, backtracking of statements and twisting of messages, failure to document sales and monies accrued, negligence in settling the proceeds of completed sales resulting in a breach of contract. He has tried to minimize the amount owing to me by saying that the items he took were broken, damaged, mismatched pieces. He would not have taken them if they were in that condition as he was very selective on what he took on Nov. 9/13. He also said that I owe him for the appraisals that he did on that day - he never mentioned that verbally or in the contract.Payment was promised by September 22/14 and it has never been received. He stated on Sept 20/14 "There is nothing to pick up." indicating to us that all was sold. On Oct 15/14, I found a painting from the estate listed on [redacted]. It is still listed along with 2 others as of January 17/15. The artist of one of the paintings even contacted [redacted] to try to buy back the picture. He never responded to her. I have received no communication from [redacted] since September 26/14 at 7:48 pm and I need a resolution - with payment - before the estate has to be settled by fall this year.[redacted]Desired SettlementI require payment for all items sold. All unsold items I would like to pick up - not damaged - which I fear they will be. As Executor of an estate I have a deadline to settle.Business Response [redacted] I was asked to come to [redacted] and evaluate and do an estate sale, after driving 4 hours there and looking at the items in the house, I was asked to give a value on the items, I stated that to do and appraisal and bot a sale was 65.00 an hour, every time I gave a value one family member stated I will buy that. The family NOT me packed everything and made an itemised list and [redacted] has told me on more than occasion that she has a list and pictures [redacted] 2 pieces of art were sold for 3,000.00 well below market value and they got the money, other items that were packed by family from 2 china cabinets that I had not looked at most were damaged, [redacted], my final bill to the estate was for 15 hours of appraising at 65.00 an hour. there was also a Violin that they had NO IDEA what it was worth, I made a couple calls and stated that I have a buyer for it for 9,000.00, [redacted] very loudly stated if it was worth that much she was not paying a commision on it and would take it back to alberta and sell it herself. There were other items like this as well, [redacted]. Also when a person like myself goes to do and estate sale or appeaisal he or she expects to get paid for work. [redacted]. [redacted]. I will send another statement with amount owing to [redacted] in the next 2 weeks. [redacted]. Yes most items were sold but nothing was of great value since [redacted] and one daughter bought just about everything of any value. [redacted]. As for items still listed it was neglect on my part that I did not take the ads down, partly because I was so busy and I am human, and I do remember getting a request from the artist but when I returned the call the person on the other end did NOT know what I was talking about.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)To the issues:Itemized List. In his Revdex.com response, [redacted] (re the matter of an itemized list). His question is unclear, for [redacted] states matter-of-factly: "The family, not me, packed everything and made an itemized list." The signed contract states: "The consignee will provide an itemized list of all goods taken by the cosigner." That list was made on Nov 10, 2013 and was given to [redacted] before he departed with the items. I have a photographed copy of the itemized list. I also have photographs of most of the pieces taken.Damaged Items. It is incomprehensible that a family in the midst of grieving the loss of their mother would damage her treasured belongings. But, assuming hypothetically that these items were damaged, why did it take [redacted] months to inform me of this? One would expect an immediate notification, and the return of items rendered unsalable. No proof of damage was provided; no items have ever been returned.Accounting of Sales. On June 3/14 [redacted]: "I am doing a sale at the end of this month and all the items from the estate are going into that sale ... Anything not sold I will send back some how ...". No cheque, no return of items, no update on sales status were forthcoming. On July 2/14, I asked for an update on the status of all estate items and requested an arrangement to pick up unsold items. [redacted] ignored these requests. On July 15/14 and on Aug 11/14 [redacted] promised that he would send updates on the results of his summer sales, but no comprehensive accounting of items sold was ever given (date sold, name of buyer, purchase amount, receipt copy of sale, the usual details of a proper business transaction). $9000 Violin. The facts: The violin was never on [redacted]'s itemized list. On Nov 10/13, [redacted] claimed to have a buyer for the CAR valued at $9000, not the violin (as stated in [redacted]'s Revdex.com response). [redacted], I decided against including the car as part [redacted]'s contracted sales. The car was struck from the list, [redacted]. [redacted] Payment. No fee for the appraisal of estate items was stipulated in the signed contract. The only fee stipulated was $35/hr. for all worked performed in event of a cancelled sale. Retroactive billing almost one year later for work done is not acceptable (i.e., appraising of items on Nov 2013, then on Sept 8/14 raising the issue of billing for appraisal). The only other agreed-upon cost in the contract was for commission, to be taken out of the proceeds generated from the sales. Since there has been no detailed accounting of items sold or unsold from the time they were taken by [redacted] in November 2013, and since there has been no forwarding of profits generated from the sale of ANY estate items, I cannot pay [redacted] for his commission.Forwarding of Proceeds. I again requested on Sept 8/14 the retrieval of all unsold items. [redacted] responded with "I will have the money owed sent in the next 14 days." [redacted] stated on Sept 20/14 that "there is nothing to pick up." On Sept 23/14, another request for proceeds to be sent. A repeated promise on Sept 26/14 did not materialize. [redacted]In summary, no money has been forwarded from sales. No detailed accounting of items sold or unsold has been provided. [redacted]

[redacted] do not do business with these people, [redacted].
They sold my [redacted] a year and a half ago and never paid me a cent. They gave me every excuse in the world, from "we're sick in the hospital" to "the cheque is in the mail."
Though it ultimately never came. [redacted], avoid doing business with them. They'll promise you everything in the world and give you nothing. ","neg-2

Complaint[redacted]I give this company 40,000 dollars worth of [redacted] sterling silver ware to sell on our behave in which he was to charge 30% of sale price for services and we signed a contract. This was almost a year ago, in that time he has said to have sold some of it but has not given any of the monies. He has emailed us on several occasions saying check is in the mail, check was on its way by registered mail and the latest one is check is coming though [redacted] but give us a false tracking number, he refuses to answer our phone calls and only occasionally responds by email. [redacted] A month ago I sent him a Demand Letter asking all monies be paid and all unsold sterling silver be returned by a specific date which he ignored. His actions show he is refusing to honour the written contract.Desired SettlementI want all monies from sale and all remaining sterling silver returned also copies of receipts for what he sold it for and names of people he sold it to so I can verify the amounts he sold it for. Business Response Mr [redacted] gave me about 9 thousand dollars at BEST in silver Flatware, all unsold items have been returned and a bank draft with a note that the balance with a list will follow, Mr. [redacted] did NOT read contract it CLEARLY states that payment is made on the 15th of the month following the end of the sale, He has been given a payment with the balance to follow, [redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)First when I first gave the items to he told me he had sold a few of the items for 4400 dollars and was just waiting for the buyer to receive the items before sending me the money minus his commission. Yesterday I received a package with a few items in it and a money order for 2000 dollars [redacted] I should have received just over 3000 just for the first few items he sold I also have papers showing the worth of the items at 40000 dollars. [redacted]
