ID [redacted] Due to the volume of email we generate sending invoices, statements, and payment receipts, we only have recent history The customer said he did not provide an email address, yet we have it The invoice copy I forwarded showed an email date on it If the email ended up in the customers spam/junk folder as it sometimes does, he may have deleted it as junk mail I can supply his email address upon request, but will not put it in this response to protect the privacy of our customers

The customer requested we send someone come out to clear a clogged washer drain All our customers are told the service call rate which includes up to the first hour of labor Our tech arrived on site and diagnosed the problem He told the customer about the rodent damage, the
customer appeared unaware of it before our diagnosis He was verbally given a quote to replace the damaged plumbing; a written quote was e-mailed to the customer as part of his invoice/receipt, which included the cost of repair It was sent to the e-mail the customer provided at the time the service call was set up The customer argued the point about the service charge only after our tech had completed his assessment and given him the verbal bid

I am rejecting this response because:How can you compare a doctors visit to having a company come to give an estimate on plumbing work? They did not email me a bid as they stated, ask them for proof! I made a mistake of paying the bill out of frustration, why would I go through all of this other wise. As I stared I got the job done for $160.00 not an estimate for $120.00 as they charged me for a 15 minute visit. I was not told over the phone about a $120.00 service fee just to show up. I would have never done that. So if a person wants to get 4 estimates on plumbing work, they would spend $480.00 just to get 4 estimates, does that seem ridiculous? They have a nice scam going at $120.00 for a 15 minute visit, no wonder he drove a nice new van! I'm sure I'm not the only person to object to this charge.

I am rejecting this response because:
It simply is not true, I was not told about a $120.00 service fee. They did not send me an email about the cost, as they did not get my email address. Ask them to send a copy of the email to me that they sent. The plummer they sent was in more of a hurry to leave after seeing the issue was not a easy fix. I knew the drain was not plugged, it was leaking behind the wall.
