Late last summer, we purchased a boat and boat trailer from this companyWe also purchased a year warranty with them as wellRecently, the motor on our boat stopped working properlyThere was no incident as to why this happen (i.ewe didn't hit anything or practice unsafe boat activity.) My hisbamd brought the boat in for them to look atHe asked them the expected wait time, as it's summer and he knows they are probably busyHe was informed that he would receive a call in a week to tell himAlmost three weeks went by and he hadn't heard anything back from them, so he visited their location againHe was shown a pile of broken motors that were the same make as ours and told it was probably the same issue, but they hadn't gotten to it yet and couldn't tell him a timeHe went back in today and the guy informed him that they still hadn't looked at it but our warranty wouldn't cover itMy husband asked him how would he know that if it hasn't been looked atHe was told: "No, we haven't looked at it but you probably did something to break itSo, nopeNo coverage." A little perplexed, my husband asked to speak to the ownerAfter explaining the situation to the owner, the owner went over to speak to the employeeThe employee proceeded to walk behind the counter, grab our boats ticket, tear it up, and then throw it in the trashHe then said: "Your boats on the fence lineHave at it." The owner did nothing to remedy the situation, and just say thereMy husband told him this was very unprofessional and he wouldn't do business with them againHe was basically told to shove off after that
This is highly unprofessional and unethicalWe spent over $6k on our boat/motor/trailerWe waited patiently for the employee to keep their word and was just accused of not taking care of our things and shown that we basically don't matterThis company has a history of doing this to their customersOnce you sign your receipt, customers are on their own if issues arise
I didn't file a Revdex.com complaint, because I don't think they will respond or careI just feel this should be reporters others know what to expect
