Review: My husband and I recently got married on Saturday September **, 2014. We had terrible experience with this catering company Artaux Catering. They promised us so many things that were not met. We have a contract that he and I signed and things were not up to par. He didn't serve Tea or Coffee at our wedding which we paid for the rental of the tea/ coffee mugs and other things involved with serving the tea/coffee. We bought things for him to bring to the reception which he forgot also. He did not serve enough food. He showed up alone not with his partner which we spoke with at all times. The times we would meet up with them it was always two people [redacted] & [redacted] and at the wedding one only showed up. He brought linen napkins, plates for only 180 people. There were 200 people 180 adults and 20 children which he didn't bring enough plates or silverware for. This is not acceptable especially for a catering company which we had to pay $17,000 for. We are extremely upset, and aggravated with the services we had. It was not only terrible but my entire family had something negative to say. It was humiliating and embarrassing. They served the meat at the end which was the main dish. Not all my guest were served cake, no one obviously had tea or coffee since he "forgot". My little cousins the (20 children) which he says there were about 10 which is not true asked for more chicken fingers and he had NONE left. There was insufficient amount of food, everyone was left hungry and we have the professional photographer's pictures to prove that! On the contract is says something different than what was actually served the day of our wedding. We are extremely angry and just want a solution for this huge mess of a problem we had.Desired Settlement: I had emailed the owner of the catering company and asked him for 1/2 of what we paid which would be $8,500. Since we paid $17,000 cash. unfortunately he hasn't responded to my second email. I currently want the entire thing for all the issues we had. I would like the $17,000 back in Cash. He not only ruined the most important day of my life he embarrassed us in front of my entire family and loved ones. We would want the entire amount reimbursed.
