Artcarved

Artcarved rings come with a lifetime warranty that purports that rings can be resized for free, with only a "small shipping and handling" fee. However, they actually charge a "warranty fee" of around $40. (I am unsure of the exact amount, because they aren't supposed to disclose the exact fee to consumers, apparently.) The authorized Artcarved jeweler tried to charge $100 for this service. Because the actual fee is typically not disclosed, jewelers may take advantage and overcharge for this service, which is supposed to be free. The system is dishonest.
Also, when I contacted customer service to find it why I was being charged to much for a "free" service, the representative was not able to give me a clear answer. I asked to speak with a manager, but there was not one available. The representative kept talking over me. When I asked him to let me talk, he hung up on me.
