The signs for the 50 cent charge for purchases under $10.00 are posted, these signs have been posted since the previous owner. They had this policy in place for 3 years prior to us buying the business. I don't know why 1 customer was charged and one was not. We have been training new employees may...

be one didn't understand or forgot the policy. As far as the meat is concerns we have no meat with Foster Farms labels on it. We have Foster Farms meat dividers in the full service meat area but the butcher will inform the customer it is not Foster Farms chicken. The bananas are there because Hispanics use the rippen bananas for their dish preparations, come customers buy them when the product is almost black in color.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have shopped at this business establishment before the new owners took it over. There were NO visible signs up stating that a $.50 charge would be tacked on to every debit or credit purchase. When the previous owners ([redacted]) had possession of the business, I used my card numerous times (as credit) and was never charged for it. As for the Foster Farms dividers, this is still a case of false advertisement, as the divider would mislead the customer into believing the chicken was from Foster Farms, otherwise, why place the divider there? As for the bananas, I find it nearly impossible to believe that anyone would purposely purchase rotten bananas, as rotten food is typically hazardous to one's health. Those bananas were there when the new establishment moved in.  I was charged unfairly, I was taken advantage of, and I would like my $.50 back.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: The cashier charged me $.50 to use my credit card. She told me she had to, then I saw her add on the charge. The charge on the receipt stated that the $.50 charge was for food, though I only bought one item that my husband purchased two days before. I looked at his receipt, there is no $.50 charge (he also used his credit card). I have both receipts for proof. Both purchases were under $10.00Also, there are Foster Farms signs for chicken in regular shrink wrap with no Foster Farms packaging, there are also rotten bananas for sale.Desired Settlement: I would like for this business to be investigated. Someone could die from eating this mystery meat. I would also like a refund. Though it is only $.50, I should not have been charged.
