This is a scam! I went through an entire hiring process with them, gave my info, got a "start date" and all. They were supposed to send a laptop, never received it. Start date came and I haven't heard anything from anyone. Sent an email to one of the "recruiters" and immediately she responded the start date was delayed. Moments later, I get a generated email stated it's been cancelled after I've already paid $60 for a background check using my finger prints. That was supposed to be reimbursed on my "first check". After that, they wanted me to fill out 3 additional forms just to get my $60 back that I didn't even pay to them directly. That was where I realized it was something sketchy because why did you need so much of my personal information just to reimburse me the money that you promised to refund me. I then disputed it with my bank and adviced them I was not giving out any more personal information. Especially since they couldn't explain to me why it was necessary. AFTER THAT, the same week I received another email from a weird, foreign name stating they were from Artech and finding people for a customer service position. The same position I just basically went through an entire hiring process for just to find out it was cancelled due to "not receiving the funding", so how do you have the funding now for another position in the same week??? I advice that person of what I just went through. Immediately, he called me. I told him I was busy and to call later. Moments later, I receive ANOTHER email from a different person, trying to get me to fill out the same forms I said I wouldn't for those $60! I informed them that I have already disputed with my bank and again, will not give out any more personal information. They were so adamant about getting those forms completed, I eventually stopped replying. Literally, the next day I received the same generated email for the CSR position from another weird name. And the next day, the same email from another weird name. So please be aware people, before you give out any information, this company is truly a scam.

They are compiling a list of social security numbers and are re-using old job descriptions (that are no longer available) to encourage people to provide the last 4 digits of the social security number (which are the most important ones!). They are absolutely scam. I was contacted in December 2019, I was not even looking for a job. They provided a job description from three years ago and when I contacted the company that supposedly put out this job, they informed me that it was a scam.

Dear Ms.,
Artech is a leader in the staffing industry, and we pledge our continued commitment to enabling your success. Regarding the request for the last 4 digits of your SSN; some of our client's protocol dictates that we submit a candidate's resume along with their DDMM or SSN + their Legal Name as it appears on a Driver’s License or Social Security card. It is used to check duplicity and multiple submissions of a candidate, and your name and DL/SSN combination make you unique in the system. We assure you that the information you give is completely confidential and is used only to submit your resume to the client with all the pertinent credentials.
Also, just to clarify, we are a staffing firm and all the requirements that we cater to for our clients are not necessarily publicly advertised on a client’s website; searching with them directly would not yield the correct information.
We are very sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience. If you’d like to discuss this matter further we would be happy to speak with you. You can reach us at

I was contacted by a supposed recruiter on 10/24/19 via email with a supposed job near my area. She said she saw my resume online and had a job she felt I was qualified for. Some of the wording in the job write up was a little more technical than usual for a marketing position, however, she did supply her phone number so I decided to call her back after pulling up the company website and seeing that the company is based in NJ. On my first try I got an "all circuits are busy" message, which was odd since the was supposed to be a business and usually that message is for mobile service when there is a lot of mobile traffic due to an unusual event. I tried again and got through, so I did not think again about the "all circuits are busy" message.
Until...
She asked me fairly basic questions during the call and then asked an odd question: Is (my name) the name that is listed on my social security card. I answered yes, and the next question really led me to believe this is a scam trying to get the personal information of unsuspecting job seekers. The next question she asked me was the last digits of my social security number, to which I answered I am not comfortable providing that information. Then she asked for my DOB, again I refused and she became audibly annoyed with me.
She then proceeded to tell me she will email me the information and I could reply. I, in no way, was provided to her or anyone over the phone my personal information. I received her email which was a very basic form with my personal information except blank with the information I reused. There were no instructions or any type of communication with the email, just the form, so I emailed her back asking what this was - 24 hours later, I still have no reply.
After I replied to her, I did a little investigation online on HER and the company. Here is what I found:
She has a LinkedIn profile in her name (no photo). All f the recruiter I know DO have profile photos and are active on ***. Her job said she was employed with Artech since July of 2019 and based in Morristown NJ. However, in her profile, it says she is employed with this company and is in Bhopal Area, India. The phone number was the exchange that is listed on the Revdex.com profile (973), however, it was obvious this was a cell phone.
I also researched the company a little online. They have numerous supposed awards listed on their website, all from India. Most of the employees seem to be foreign, which may or may not mean anything. As a digital marketer, I reviewed their social media accounts and found that they had numerous negative reviews similar to the ones listed here, stating that it is a scam, that they did not get paid, or that they were told of positions and then never heard back once they had provided their information to the company. This set off all kinds of red flags for me, so I decided to email her back.
I emailed her back and asked her for their privacy policy on how they handle personal information since there should be public knowledge and in their privacy policy. I also asked her that f I worked for them, how I got paid and by whom, and if there was a delay in payment for any reason. I also asked for the terms conditions of working with them. These are all normal legal documents a legitimate company would readily provide. And......24 hours later, I have not received a reply.
This company has numerous complains on the Revdex.com website (too bad most people will not take the time to write one), numerous complaints on social media, they ask for consumer personal information over the phone without a legitimate reason, and yet they are still in business. Why?
I have worked in banking and finance, and I am a savvy consumer, but many folks would let this go. I am filing a complaint on behalf of all the ones who won't. The Revdex.com profile says this business has existed for 27 years. They are trolling the internet to prey on unsuspecting job seekers and asking for their personal information. How is this legal? They are not Revdex.com accredited and they have a ONE-star rating.only because it is required.

Dear ***,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear that your interaction with our business did not match your expectations. We at Artech firmly believe that conducting oneself professionally during recruitment process is part of branding our company Artech. We have taken your tough critique/input very positively as a valuable feedback.
Let me take this opportunity to address the concerns expressed by you.
We are headquartered in Morristown, NJ, 07960 and are a global staffing firm located with various offices across USA, Canada, China and India. Our employees support various aspects of our operations from these international locations. For more information on Artech’s services, please visit our website at www.artech.com
The 973-XXX-XXXX number listed at Revdex.com community review is not a cell phone number it is a landline number. We would like to make this right and welcome you to visit us anytime to make sure that we are physically located in the USA and not a scam company.
Regarding SSN and DOB: We are a staffing company with a client base of 75+ fortune 500 companies and request the SSN & DOB information only on behalf of those clients who do require it. This is predominantly to help the clients to identify candidates and to avoid duplicate/multiple submissions of the same candidate. Even then, invariably Artech/the clients require only the last 4 digits of SSN and the birth month & day to complete the submittal process with the client.
With regard to pay processing, Artech processes payroll on a bi-weekly basis and every new hire is provided a copy of the payroll schedule (for the current year) as part of their onboarding paperwork, so there is no ambiguity, whatsoever.
We have been in staffing for over 27 years now and have won various prestigious awards from clients and other organizations namely WBENC, SIA and NJBIZ, etc., which are all headquartered in the USA contrary to your finding that the awards listed on our website are from India. You are more than welcome to call any of these prestigious organizations to confirm that we do exist in Morristown, NJ, 07960.
Again, we always aim to deliver a great experience. We take your feedback seriously and will do our best to continue improving on the services we provide.

I was reached out by a recruiter for a high profile role with a large corporation in the US - contract or likely contract to hire. They got my info and it never went anywhere. In the process, they wanted some personal info.
Their story changed from time to time. They were obviously lying.

This business hires fully incompetent payroll employees, likely outsourced in India. They have zero understanding of US payroll laws and are incredibly frustrating to deal with. Avoid as much as you can. Block their area code, if need be, and tell your friends how horrendous Artech Information Systems really is. Their owner, Ranjini P, should be fully aware of the type of people in charge with the company's finances.

I called this recruiter back thinking they were legitimate and immediately after hanging up the call they emailed me. I did not even provide my email to them over the phone they somehow knew my email. I found that very sketchy and I am not giving any personal information to this company. They are a SCAM!!!

This unprofessional recruiting company chose to call me SEVEN times in a row within a span of 25 minutes today. The first call I received ended with a barely understandable voicemail. They called within minutes of the first call. I picked up, told them to stop calling me I am not interested. They decided to keep calling on different NJ phone numbers after I blocked the first two. I picked up the phone two more times and asked the person calling me to stop calling/ put me on the do not call list. Each time I picked up it was a different Indian man or woman on the line. I asked them to put me on the do not call list, it continued. The worst part of this is that I would block a number, then, another would call. I replied back to their email after these seven calls in a row- I asked the woman on email to STOP contacting me// Take me off their list. I understand why they think harassment leads to people accepting a contract with them? I'd like them to answer that question.

Artech Information Systems LLC spammed me and hundreds of other people on the evening of 11/30/17.
