Purchased items for over $24K was never delivered and switched without knowledge by used units, after a 6 month delay never received the items
Arteek Supply and Design LLC Orlando, FLOn June 16, 2018, I purchased many items from Arteek. I purchased Luxury appliances for the construction of our new home, this included top of the line Viking appliances including a $11,000 refrigerator, $4,500 Stove, wine cooler, microwaves also paid for installation. I still as of December 9, 2019 still do not have the items I have paid for. I never received a whole section of the appliances. Was only delivered in aa clear wrapping paper an used fridge that looks like it beloNG to the display at the store, clearly NOT NEW. I was told via the owner Dalia and Ahmed (AKA ED) that my kitchen would be completed and done by September 2019 and it is still not finished. Every time I ask for what I purchased they tell me the items are on the way from the factory. They owe me my kitchen and many other items that I have not received plus the installation. This also caused a delay on the construction of my new home since the appliances were needed in order to pass our inspections, and now the builder delayed almosT 6 month the construction because we did not have the appliances. I have been taken advantage of. This has been the biggest nightmare of my life. This company and its owners/representatives specially ED (Ahmed) has consistently lied to my face in over 12 occasions saying that the items are on its was and he is doing a favor to us, since the company was planning to Now go into bankruptcy, however they announced the grand opening of a new restaurant in the area as well as a real estate services group.
"Beware" this people, especially the owners, they have put a lot of effort in marketing to make it seem as they are a well stablished corporation, at the time they had over 6-10 Billboards all over the city with their brand name, now that same billboard company "clear channel is now suing them for money owned for this advertising campings. They also have multiple complains in the Revdex.com including mine, that was never resolve, meanwhile the currently operation both of their business in the International Drive, and Dr phillips area in Orlando FL.
They now ignored my calls, texts and emails, and have constantly lied to take our money and time which is most precious. Desired OutcomeI am looking to reimbursed for the amount of $24,504.27. ( not including damages and delays in construction)

Desired Outcome

I am looking to reimbursed for the amount of $24,504.27. ( not including damages and delays in construction) or full delivery of new appliances.

Re: Arteek Supply and Design LLC Orlando, FL

On March 24, 2018 and April 3, 2018, I purchased many items from Arteek. I purchased cabinets, counters, sinks, faucets, vanities, ice machines, wine cooler and paid for installation. I still as of February 22, 2019 still do not have the items I have paid for. I never received a whole section of my kitchen cabinets. I paid for faucets, trim kits, ice machines and I still do not have everything I purchased to date.
I was told via the owner Dalia that my kitchen would be completed and done by June 2018 and it is still not finished. Every time I ask for what I purchased they tell me I owe more money for a kitchen layout. A surprise fee that came out of nowhere. When Arteek did send the designers to my house they would all argue in front of me that the layout would not work (this layout never worked, and they want more money for it). I had to find companies to come and install the cabinets because Arteek would not complete the job and had a hard time finding a company because they said I should have had custom cabinets and what I was sold would not work for my kitchen. They owe me my kitchen and many other items that I have not received plus the installation.

I paid for 5 slabs of quartz countertops with fabrication and installation. I only received 4. When I called the installer for my last piece of quartz, they told me Arteek picked up my quartz. I had plans for the slab I had purchased.

I also paid for two bathrooms to be remodeled. Arteek did the plumbing in both bathrooms. There is a leak is in the bathroom on the second floor and goes into my kitchen. I had to pay to have the tile work (and kitchen celling) to be done two times so far and it will need to be done again because the problem is still not fixed. This is one example of many problems I am having with this purchase. Both vanities I purchased and had installed do not drain. The water does not go down the pipes in the sins. I also have had electrical problems from their work and so on.

I feel like I have been taken advantage of. This has been the biggest nightmare of my life. This company has ignored my texts and emails.

Desired Outcome

I am looking to reimbursed for the amount of $162,509.27.

We signed a contract on Sept. 29, 2017 with Arteek for a kitchen remodel. To this date, we still have not received all of the cabinetry materials.
We have a contract with Arteek signed by all on Sept. 29, 2017 for a kitchen remodel. We paid for cabinetry and installation, quartz counters product and installation, appliances, electrical and plumbing!

To this date, we still haven't received all of the materials for a finished kitchen.

Many measurement errors were made by Arteek. Many months went by without a working kitchen. Ed Elbatrawry continued to either avoid us or tell us he ordered the items, when we confirmed with the cabinetry manufacturer that he didn't.
We were without a working kitchen for nearly a year! Despite the fact that we paid for cabinetry products and installation, electrical and plumbing, we had to locate and hire these industry technicians to give us a working kitchen.

Therefore more money, time, and aggravation for us!

Yet, even more, the cabinetry manufacturer isn't helping us since they're the wholesaler to their dealer Arteek.

There is too much more about the aggravation we endured with Ed and Arteek.

In addition, we have learned that this has happened to other families. One of the families, I know personally.

I would like the materials we have requested from Ed, to finish our kitchen. In addition, I would like compensation for all of the services we had to pay beyond what we paid Arteek that they didn't do properly nor did they complete!

Desired Outcome

We would like the materials needed to finish our kitchen plus compensation/refund for what we paid Arteek for electrical, and plumbing, and hood installation.

Nothing that this company has told us since hiring them to do our remodel has happened, they have bad communication and unethical business practices.
We signed a contract in May to have Arteek do our remodel. Ed, the owner told us that we would need 50% up front and the other 50% by mid May to "order all of the materials." We paid them $78000 before they even started work. We were to move out of our home on May 31 so that they could start promptly on June 1. We did what we said we would and here was the first time they were caught lying. They didn't start until nearly a week after they were supposed to. The demo took 3 days and no work was done for over 3 weeks following the demo. We then found out about 2 months after hiring them and paying them to order materials that the cabinets we selected were no longer available (well of course we should have found that out back in May when we paid to supposedly order them). July 4th they started to install tile and on July 5th I notified them that I thought the tile was the wrong color. At the time I notified them, about 50% of the tile was complete and even though I told them it was wrong, on the 6th they proceeded to nearly complete the tile install. I made it crystal clear that the tile was wrong and even sent pictures of the tile my wife signed and the tile that was in the home and stated that there is no negotiating we want the tile we selected. Ten days later a rep from the tile company calls to see if we could somehow keep the tile and I explained that there is no way we want that tile just like I said on July 6th. It has been a week now with no communication whatsoever from the company to answer our questions. We are paying to rent a different home and we will now need to rent it for another month because of this debacle. It's completely unacceptable that 2 weeks after explaining that the tile was wrong we are still looking at our home that seems as if we've paid $78,000 to have them rip out our kitchen and flooring and now it's like the company has gone out of business (because nobody responds to us). Because nothing that Ed has said has come true we refuse to communicate without it being in writing and what's worse is I even have in writing from him a threat that he won't do good work for us because I was upset with his first lie about what day they were going to start. It seems that two of the people that worked on our project are no longer with the company and the new guy that was assigned to us has blown us off for a week now (as of July 20th). We want what we paid for and it better be done right because we feel that this terrible customer service is all a byproduct of Ed telling us that we wouldn't get good work now. It's not fair to pay this much money and deal with this level of unprofessional behavior.

Desired Outcome

We want a refund if the project cannot be completed to our satisfaction by 8/15/2019. We also want the workmanship warranteed in writing for a minimum of one year from completion for piece of mind that they will do quality work despite their threats. We also would like them to pay for our extra month rent in the amount of $1500 and the water and electricity for August at our rental as if they had done what they said they would do we would be back home before August 1st. Do the right thing.

Arteek Supply and Design Response • Nov 07, 2018

Hi ***,

Arteek has many satisfied customers and I am very sorry you feel this way. I want to have all my customer to have a positive experience when trusting Arteek for their home improvements.

As you know from your visit to Arteek three weeks ago, you saw your purchase in our warehouse including your appliance package, countertops, cabinets and handles. They are available for delivery upon your request.

The main hold up on your project is the tile selection. The tile we installed was not the actual tile you selected. It was very simialr and the mistake was not caught until a couple weeks after the installation was complete. We purchased, installed, and removed the the incorrect tile at no charge to you. Since the tile was removed we have shown you over 20 other tile samples and unfortunatley you have not liked any of the new options.

As we discussed, we have no preference where you purchase the new tile. Once you purchase the new tile and have it delivered to the house we are happy to install the tile free of charge. Once the tile arrives at your house, we anticipate the completion of your project within 2 weeks.

Again, we appoligize for any inconvience this has caused and we look forward to hearing from you to to schedule the completion your project.

Sincerely,
Our phone number is

Work product and level of customer service was unacceptable with Arteek. Their business practices are suspect. They owe me money and a cabinet.
I entered a contract with Arteek in August of 2017 to install kitchen cabinets, appliances and cabinet hardware. I paid in full for all services because they indicated they could not place the orders for cabinets/appliances or hold the selected quartz on site without payment in advance. They did not complete until December 2017 after duress in trying to get them to complete job.
They said product and work would begin and end in September. They said it was delayed by the hurricane until I hounded them at the store and then suddenly product showed up in October. Packing info indicated they had not ordered until after I pushed them in September.
When the product arrived, it was not assembled as they said it would be. I had to sit at my house 6 days (off work) with a sub-contractor/handy man while the product was put together and then installed. They did not provide him with guidelines on the install. Many items were left to guess and were therefore incorrect. I sent them an email about my dissatisfaction after he finished.
The initial contractor did not take the crown molding to the ceiling as originally indicated/promised by Arteek's representatives on more than one occasion. When the owner came to look at the sub-par work done by the initial sub-contractor, he indicated that he could no longer take it to the ceiling as promised. After a lot of discussion, I let it go because it was getting to difficult to get through the process.
After my complaints about the install, the owner sent another team to try to complete the kitchen correctly. While some things were completed, others were not. I still have a cabinet door that is damaged because the replacement cabinet door that they brought but never installed and it is more damaged than the first one. The owner never returned to look at whether the job was done right.
While all of this was happening, the quartz/appliances/door handles I had originally selected were nowhere to be found. After pushing, the owner finally indicated that he was no longer doing business with the handle vendor and that he would give me the money back for the appliances and the handles. I was forced to rush out on "Black Friday" after Thanksgiving and order my appliances on my own.
I was convinced that the company no longer had the quartz I had originally selected and had sent a note of my concern right after the first sub-contractor. Arteek sent the countertop subcontractor late in November with cut quartz that I specifically did not order. I have a witness to and photo of my original selection. The owner agreed initially that it was their error and offered me $2k verbally to take the wrong quartz. He then changed his mind, indicated that he had me on video selecting the wrong quartz and signing off on the wrong quartz and that his employees would back him up. I said produce the video - he would not. He sent a picture of the quartz that he said had my signature. He magically had saved that photo because he knew it would be an issue? Regardless, the veining in these slabs are like a fingerprint. You can see that the veining in the slab he says I signed does not match the wrong quartz that was installed. And neither the wrong quartz installed or the picture he produced matched the original photo I took of the quartz that I selected which had no long veining. I told him $2k was not enough given that it is a permanent fixture in my kitchen - that it should be $4k. He came back and said he had already spent enough on my install and that he would give me $1k. I reluctantly agreed to the $1k under duress because I did not think that he would complete the job or give me any quartz if I did not. I have a signed copy of a document that indicates he owes me the $1k.
There is so much more to this story. I can't fully explain in the limited space provided the time off work, effort, duress, strain and stress involved with dealing with this company to get what I deserved.

Desired Outcome

I would like the promised check for $1,000 and a replacement cabinet door.

Customer Response • Nov 28, 2018

I feel the original complaint clearly outlines the issues. The "extra extra work never been charge" to me was done because the first Arteek subcontract installer did not do the work correctly and a second team was sent out to fix it. It is not extra work that would be charged to me if it is work done to attempt to fix an error. I tried many times via text to get the promised check. The complaint was never just about money. However, I have now received the check that was promised to me and no longer require Arteek's services.

My kitchen remodel isn't completed nor do they want to refund me for the cabinets they still owe me.
I hired this company in Feb 2017 for my kitchen remodel. We've had numerous problems from the wrong design, to the wrong cabinets ordered, to the multiple lies, to not paying their vendors. Not to mention the incompetence and lack of communication with the staff. It's been an excruciating ordeal. Finally after 7 LONG months & numerous mistakes, my kitchen was almost completed. I'm still waiting for 3 top aluminum frosted custom cabinets & a new cabinet door that's cracked that they owe us. My husband reached out to them numerous times for the status. Finally, the owner Ahmed E, told us the cabinets they ordered from a different company, not the original company, didn't look right. The reason why they had to order the remaining top aluminum frosted cabs from another vendor was because Arteek didn't pay the "original" vendor (***, Richard J) so that company didn't want to do business with Arteek anymore until Ahmed paid his debt! My husband spoke to Will T, an employee to see if he can speak to the original vendor himself & order the cabinets and have Arteek reimburse us the cost. Will T, the employee said to go ahead and get an invoice from ***. We went ahead and met with Richard J from *** and he gave us a quote. We emailed it to Will. Ahmed, the owner, said he would have an employee drop off the check and a release order for us to sign on Dec. 18th, 2017. My husband waited and no-one ever showed up. When my husband called Arteek, Will T said he didn't have anyone scheduled to come to our house & that he never told him to contact ***, which is a lie. My husband contacted Ahmed directly asking him why he never sent anyone to our house with the check like he said. He didn't have a good reason or excuse. He's been saying he wants this to be over with but we have yet to receive any check, or phone call since Friday. My husband reached out again by text on Tuesday, Dec. 22nd & Ahmed never responded. We just want to get this kitchen remodel completed and put this ordeal behind us. We already paid this company over $35,000. The 3 top frosted aluminum cabs (1) 21x15 and (2) 30x15 which were included in the price. Since we never got the cabinets nor replacement of cracked cab door, we want a refund in the amount of $506, which is what the custom cabs will cost. We haven't factored in the cost of the cracked door nor installation, which was included also. We just want to be done with them. This company is very unethical and unprofessional and doesn't follow through with their word. If you can please help me resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund in the amount of $506 and the replacement cabinet door that is cracked.

Arteek Supply and Design Response • Jan 04, 2018

We have already financially compensated *** in the amount of $500 and other supplies throughout the process of their kitchen remodel.

Customer Response • Jan 05, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They have compensated me however we are still waiting on the cabinet door. Once we receive that then we will be satisfied.

Worst 5 month out of my life, one problem after the other, would not recommend.
