I accept most of the response except the business did not inform us of reimbursing them for the towIt was simply stated by Alex that he would send a towI was not informed that I was responsible for paying for the tow until MrTransmission finished checking my vehicle out for any issues related to it not starting.

Sent: Wednesday, April 20, 12:PM Subject: *** Customer: *** *** ID: *** Customer: *** *** To whom it may concern, Mr*** brought his vehicle to have his
transmission serviced. As part of the service the vehicle was put through a point inspection at no charge. During the inspection it was discovered that the vehicle had a delay in reverse, the fluid was varnished, and some metal debris in the pan. At that point the customer was advised that there was an internal failure inside the transmission that would require some form of a rebuild. The customer was informed that the charge to remove, disassemble and inspect the transmission was $The $covers all the labor to remove, disassemble and inspect the transmission, which goes towards the total repair of the vehicle but does not include the parts to rebuild the unitOnce we removed and inspected the transmission we called him back with the total cost of repairs he the declined to have it done at that time. The customer picked up the vehicle on 4/and told me he was having it towed to the dealership to be rebuilt. To our knowledge that is what he did Best regards, Joshua ***

with major repairs, after the repair it is the customers responsibility to bring the vehicle back for repairs. Towing is not covered under the warranty. On the evening of 2/1 we completed transmission repairs and installing an external transmission cooler and the customer picked up their vehicle. The following morning the customer contacted us and informed us that the transmission was leaking. With the repair being just barely completed we towed the vehicle in as a courtesy, at no charge. After the vehicle was received back at our location we found that one of the hoses for the external cooler was defective and wasn't able to hold the pressure. We replaced the hose and the customer was able to pick it up the same day. A few days later the customer called with concerns about the vehicle not starting. Alex informed the customer that he could tow the vehicle in and if the problem was not transmission related that he would need to be reimbursed for the tow. When the vehicle arrived we had no trouble starting the vehicle. We double checked all our work to make sure everything was properly installed, no errors were found. At that point Alex called the customer and asked for the customer to pick up their vehicle and reimburse what we paid the towing service. Please note, as stated on the repair order, towing is not covered under the warranty. To this day, we have not heard back from the customer. As far as we know, everything is working well and they haven't had any other issues. Sent on: 2/17/2016 11:56:03 AM
