Artesian Home Products and Valor Leaf Guards: If you are looking for "top rated gutter guards" AND only have short runs of straight gutters with few to no trees around, this is the product for you provided you want to spend a lot. But if you have trees and gutters that might have to protect a corner or two, DO NOT buy this product. We did and they clog up every couple days and have for months. In the worst sections, the screen mesh clogged and water was forced down behind the gutter down the house siding and over the gutter causing puddles and stayed wet for days on the decking. When we went to them to try and resolve the situation they were terribly rude and condescending. We sent pictures showing the soaked deck and the clogged screens. They said it was "just a drip" and the gutters were functioning. But they weren't! We went from gutters w no guards that had to be cleaned once a year to expensive Valor guards that we are cleaning multiple times a week. Their response was to get up on a ladder, use a long pole and a brush or hire out multiple cleanings. So now we have to pay more and clean more often since we got Artesian's Valor Guards. They did offer to refund us a small portion of the guards but straight out accused us of lying and apparently fabricating photographs that show the build up and damage they are causing. Again, rude and condescending. They do not stand behind their product. And only explain after that their product actually does require regular cleaning up to and more than gutters without their product. We are out $6K and they will do nothing. I have pictures!!! And damage. Don't buy their product. Or be prepared for more money and effort than you had to put in before you got them.
