I have been happy in the past, but am looking for another bank.
I had a check from USAA, a well known insurance company.
I have had an account with CGTC for years and have always been in good standing.
The insurance check was to cover my car, and seeing as I was in the drive through and was able to point out the obvious damage, the excuses I got were ludicrous.
I was told I would have to wait over a week for the check to clear because they may take back funds.
I then waited for FIFTEEN MINUTES for them to refuse to honor the check.
It would have taken less time for them to just put it in my account.
I have had other checks deposited in a timely manner and was given excuses for why this was not the case. I frankly think the teller at the window doesn't know how to do her job.
So after waiting for ages to NOT get the money to fix my car, I was told I HAD to I initial paperwork in order to leave and get the money at all!
I have called the bank manager and surprise! No phone call back.
VERY UNHAPPY.
