I drove from Houston to New Orleans that afternoon to pick up the boat Upon return to Houston, I took it to a Yamaha dealer for warranty transfer and basic maintenance to ensure it was ready for the water I was informed the impeller was damaged and that I may have problems with performance I contacted Boat Yard owner and was told they would not assist and made fun of for choosing to take it to a dealer for a proper maintenance
Since then, I was able to confirm that it does not tow properly (took over seconds to try to get a skiier up, but never got to planing speed during that time)
This type of damage is easily verifiable without taking any parts off the boat and should have been disclosed by the deale
