However, last moth I was side line with reoccurring of some health issue, also I just got back 2 days ago from [redacted] after 2 weeks of franchisee training and meeting at the home office. these are not excuses because I have none, just explaining why I  was late in responding to your request.                   You have 60 units remaining equal $7,500.00                   Minus cancellation service fee of   - $ 250.00                    Balance of refund due                      $7,250.00To day I will put in the mail this letter a copy of the FTC rule regarding the cancellation fee and 1st monthly payment of $1,100.00. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Review: I started at the dance studio approximately 2 years ago. I was told about pricing for lessons which incrementally increased. At every stage, I was assured that I can get a refund for the remainder of my lessons, assuming there was no Arthur Murray Dance Studio if/when I moved. I found out that I had to move for my job and I contacted the owner of the studio. He stated that he needed a letter stating that I was indeed going to move and assured me that I would get a refund. I sent the first letter in February with a forwarding address. I sent a second letter at the end of the month. I was never contacted again by the studio owner. I called in March and one of the instructors told me that the owner would call. He has not. I sent an email one week ago informing him that I want a refund. I still haven't gotten a reply or refund. At this point, I just believe that he never intended to give me a refund but I want to lodge a complaint so other people aren't swindled in the same manner.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the remainder of the lessons but if they refuse, then I would be happy if their standing was downgraded.
