Regarding the floor material and cupping I have no control on the climate inside of the house/condo.I have never give any warranty on the floorIf customer has it I would like to see that.Floor has been installed days after the delivery day - according to the manufacturer acclimating timeWe
have follow the direction.Regarding the rest I have no idea what the customer is talking aboutIt is similar to the situation when he stated that we have not cover the tub before painting and he want us to clean it.The problem was that the drops were red color not grayish - color we have paint the wallsIt is a kind of customer that blames anyone and everything for what he is responsible forIf he keeps the humidity and temperature simular all year long he would never have a problem with the hardwood floor - wood absorbing and releasing the waterShrinks and expends

I am rejecting this response because:Arthur's Decorating has refused to accept there is an issue with my flooring and refuses to come take a look at it. If he has not seen the issue first hand I fail to understand how he can claim there is no issue. This is textbook deflection especially without seeing the issue. As for the humidity control in the condo, I have a smart thermostat paired with a furnace that has a buihumidifier. Humidity levels are kept constant throughout the year which proves his statement to be and once more deflecting. As such, they refinished my whole hardwood floor at the same time they installed the new hardwood flooring in the master bedroom. The only hardwood floor with separation, cupping, and squeaking is the newly installed floor. The rest of the existing hardwood remains flawless, smooth, and noise free. While Arthur's Decorating may have waited the "recommended time" to install, they failed to take moisture readings for the subfloor which is a requirement from the manufacturer. This is most likely the reason behind the issue. Since Arthur's Decorating sourced and procured the materials for this job, they should take responsibility for the defective materials used.Arthur's Decorating needs to repair the defective hardwood floor or give me a refund so I can have it repaired by a reputable contractor
Sincerely,
