I bought a car he said was in great shape, but had a loud exhaust leak. Shortly after I paid for it (about 10 minutes) the dash burst into flames. I got the fire out and contacted him about it. By that time he had already deposited the money into his kids bank account and in the next few months he said he would get me something, but made sure to let me know I wouldn't be able to get a dime out of him because all his assets are in his kids name as well has letting me know people have tried to sue him in the past over lemons. I have also seen how they work on their cars, and how Arty himself treats customers cars. Pulling the E-break around turns, jumping them over hills, doing burnouts Infront of my house. Bottom line is he doesn't care who he screws asking as the car holds up long enough for him to make it to the bank. If you buy a car from him, don't pay the price he asks for, cause I can tell you it's not worth it. My cousin also bought cars from him in the past that caught fire in about the same way
