Dear [redacted] ,Enclosed please find extensive correspondence between [redacted] Doors and [redacted] regarding the ***'s Artisan garage door.To keep this brief, at the end of this episode it seems that [redacted] has sold her home and the Artisan garage door she purchased from [redacted] Doors is functioning properly for the new home Owners.For a time it seems that nothing that [redacted] Door was offering to do was good enough for [redacted] ***At the point when she contacted us, I told her that if my field representative felt it was warranted that we would provide her with new door sectionsAfter that time I received word from [redacted] Door that she was not being reasonable and that I should allow them to deal With [redacted] ***.Artisan has been in business for years and after manufacturing thousands of custom garage doors, we have never been sued or refused to remedy any serious issue with our products.We regard this matter as closed.Sincerely,Matthew C [redacted] President

I am rejecting this response because:
I was never unreasonable. I was too patient actually. We spent thousands and only wanted what we paid for. I only expected to have the door replaced like I was told it would be. I have a voicemail recording from Artisan and waited and waited and waited but it never came. [redacted] finally came and repainted the door to cover up the discoloration or defective area. We have closed on the sale of our home and the door always worked so I'm not surprised that it is working or functioning properly since [redacted] Doors moved the motor up.  I want to warn consumers about this experience because we spent a lot of money and got empty promises from Artisan and an imperfect door. These two companies blamed each other for everything along the way. I never got what we paid for which was a brand new door in perfect condition. I was strung along for months with no solution. I would like to send the voicemail recording as proof of Artisan Doors false promises, failure to follow thru with their promise and and failure to replace the defective product that we paid for. Please let me know how I can send this to you. I will ask for assistance to get it into the format you need in order to receive it.

Review: Since the installation of our, more than $3000, garage door we have complained that there is discoloration along with a split in the wood at the top. The owner, Matt C., assured me he would make it right because the installed said it was Artisans responsibility. The territory manager came out and acknowledged the discoloration and split in the wood. Territory manager, Bill B., said that he would get us a new door but it would take six weeks like the original door did when we ordered it. He said we would get a replacement over 11 weeks ago at this point. He also acknowledged that they would have to take our current door back to the factory to take it apart and figure out what went wrong with it. I was fine with getting a replacement door but that wont even help because we are now relocating. Since November this garage door has been nothing but a headache and I wish I could give it back but the installer took our old door when they brought the Artisan Door. I even have a saved voicemail from Artisan Doorworks letting my husband and I know that they are going to replace the door. We never heard back from them again. I have called multiple times and emailed them to seek resolution. We are out over $3000 and they have made NO effort to make us whole. We got scammed and taken advantage of. We paid for a "quality" door that would be an investment in our home. Their webpage promises meticulous craftsmanship and quality appearance. Our attorney agrees that we are victims of consumer fraud. We now will have to pay an attorney to help us get our money back if we do not get resolution here. We spent our savings on this door and are devastated with dealing with this door since installation in December 2013.Desired Settlement: $3000 refund
