Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSo long as they actually follow through with their indication to stop contacting me Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: they are lying about me telling the doctor to take the stigmatism off I never said that and I never said that I was happy with my far away Vision I told her I was going to try them at work because that's when I can tell if they work or not which I did and they do not work I still cannot see clear they were fussy *** regarding to my husband's frames I went back in Washington me was that she could not do anything for him
Sincerely,
*** ***

[redacted] was marked as inactive in our practice management software, which should have automatically inactivated all outgoing communications.  I contacted the company handling text messages this morning and his account has been inactivated with them.  I apologize for the inconvenience.

During [redacted]'s initial examination she reported she was experiencing headaches with her current glasses.  The results of the exam showed she has an astigmatism.  An astigmatism correction was noted in her prescription.  With the astigmatism correction she achieved 20/20 vision as...

she reported in the exam room with doctor.  Her first set of lenses was made with the astigmatism correction.  [redacted] returned to our office approximately three weeks later and requested that the astigmatism portion of her prescription be removed.  The doctor accommodated that request.  Our office remade her lenses at no charge.  When she picked up her glasses after the lenses had been remade, she stated she was happy with the vision. Based on that conversation we believed the patient to be satisfied as we had remade her lenses as she requested and she reported good distance vision. If [redacted] now has further concerns about her vision we are happy to schedule her to see one of our doctors.  If she prefers to see a different doctor within our practice we are happy to accommodate her request.During frame selection with [redacted] ([redacted]'s husband), he mentioned that he wears a headset at work.  Our optician showed him the headsets we use in office and he stated he used headsets like ours.  Our optician gave him one of our headsets to use during frame selection.  [redacted] used both of his hands to apply pressure to the headsets to mimic a typical workday.  He did this several times with different frames.  After trying on several different frames, and testing them with the headset, he and [redacted] made the final decision on a frame.  [redacted], like [redacted], has Vision Service Plan (VSP) insurance.  This particular insurance does not allow a frame change to be made. We are willing to handle a frame exchange in-house for a frame of equal or lesser value.  However, his insurance company will not remake lenses in a different frame (because the insurance company does not allow a frame change).  [redacted] would need to pay the cost of new lenses in the event he elects to do a frame change with us in-house.  We will offer a 20% discount on new lenses.Of the amount the patients paid, most of the dollars were deducted from our practice on the insurance company's EOB to pay the insurance company for the frame and prescription lenses.  The dollars patients pay do not remain with the practice, but are simply collected by the practice for Vision Service Plan.   Resolution:  [redacted] can see a different doctor in our practice to evaluate her prescription.  [redacted] can exchange the frame with us in-house for a frame of equal or lesser value and pay for new lenses (less the 20% discount we are offering) to be made in that frame.
