This customer contacted us indicating their vehicle had a check engine light on The vehicle had no issues while in our inventory, and passed PA inspection I asked if she purchased a warranty, and she said that she had not Regardless, I asked her to bring the car into our shop so we could take a look at the car I also mentioned to her that the vehicle she had traded in had a transmission that was slipping badly, a fact that she said she knew about but failed to disclose this to us in her written condition statement I told her that I would not have taken her trahad she disclosed this problem She did not have any response to why she did not disclose the problem with her trade-in We await the customer to come back with the car during business hours

Purchased the *** *** on December th a couple days after purchased car, I sent in a complaint to Revdex.com because the car the check engine light came on I called the dealer and spoke to peter and he told me I didn't purchase the warrenty so he wouldn't do anything, then complained about the car I traded in Just had the car at a garage and they said conductor plate in the transmission that wasn't working That's why the check engine light came on , it had to come on before they sold it , but they must have shut the light off , since it was on the whole time after , It costs 1,to have it fixed ! Also when I called the DMV to find out where my registration isThe DMV said it was never transferredI called the dealership and they said they misplaced the paperworkThe DMV said it should have been done before weeks and it was after a month I called the dealership and they said they misplaced the paper work , so I still haven't received my new registration!!!TranslateDesired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution: RefundRefundselectDesired Outcome: They should have to pay for fixing the car 1,it costs to fix the car !!!

Provision #of the warranty contract states "This Mechanical Breakdown Warranty Plan is a limited warranty and represents the only obligation of Quality Auto Assurance It is considered earned and is NOT REFUNDABLE." If the customer wishes to trade the vehicle in to us, we would be
willing to contact the warranty company and ask them to transfer the warranty to another vehicle, even though they have no obligation to do so

This consumer's complaint was previously filed, we responded, and Revdex.com closed file Case closed

We have been discussing this situation with the buyer, and we are working together towards a timely and satisfactory resolution

There was a clerical issue that caused a delay in deliver of the title to us This was explained to the customer multiple times, and we offered to take the car back and fully refund the purchase price At this point, the customer has received the title and is happy with the vehicle and
transaction

Customer purchased a 2005 Hummer with over 100k miles.  It was sold with a 3 month limited warranty covering internal engine components only.  She was given the opportunity to have a pre-purchase inspection done, however declined.  She was offered an extended warranty, and declined....

 When purchased, the vehicle's readyness monitors were not set, thus requiring the vehicle to be driven at least 100 miles before re-testing.  Purchaser was asked to simply return once the required number of miles had been driven.  Rather than bring the vehicle back, she had it inspected somewhere else.  She was told that the vehicle needed shocks.  We asked her to not do the repair, but return the vehicle for us to inspect and confirm problem, as we have our own shop to address any post-sale issues.  She declined to bring the vehicle back, and had the repair done at her own expense.  We have refunded customer's inspection fee and have closed the file.

We did inspect this Customer's vehicle when he brought it in, and it does not have a timing chain issue as he stated.  It is possible that it needs timing chain tensioners, which is a fairly common maintenance issue with this particular vehicle.  The tensioners are not covered by the free...

warranty that came with the vehicle.  In any case, we have left a message for the Customer to contact us to discuss the issue, and we are willing to work with this Customer so that he can be satisfied with his purchase.
